Santagloria Coffee & Bakery — Restaurant in Calella

We called here for breakfast three times early in our holiday, as it was near our hotel. We enjoyed what we had, with the same order for the three of us costing 12.75 euros on the first two occasions. On the third visit, we ordered exactly the same again and were charged 12.75 again by the assistant until what looked like a manager (no uniform) said an item which was being warmed up and handed to us a couple of minutes later, as had been usual, hadn't been allowed for and cost another two euros 30. I tried to make the point that the order was identical to the first two visits, had been allowed for, as on the first two occasions, and surely the price should be the same. Sadly, itemised receipts were never made available and speaking next to no Spanish, I was never going to win that debate, so reluctantly paid up. The food and location were so good, we would probably have returned most days for breakfast, but after that, we didn't go back, finding the 365 bakery a little further along the street, where the food and drinks were just as good and the value and service...

Es un sitio que me gustaba mucho ,pero el servicio del personal es horroroso, cuando te atienden no te miran a la cara ,todo el rato hablando entre ellas y si le piden un café se ponen hacerlo sin dejar de que termines a pedir otras cosas .. y no saben ni lo que les has pedido ,a la hora d ephar tenía ,50€ y me dice qe no me cobra con ese billete xq no sabe si la maquina tiene cambio ...perdona ?????????? Un domingo a las 18:00h zona turística ...no tienes cambio en la máquina y no puedes cobrar ?? Pues me dice que sino le pago con tarjeta es lo que hay .... Pues después de la mala atención recibida al servirme los cafés en la bandeja y mi cara de ..como ?? Me he tenido que ir xq no me han querido cobrar ... Que patético !!! No volveré !! Y a los dueños .... No hagáis casting ... Hacer entrevistas de trabajo ... Que se ve de lejos que no quieren...
