Visit this restaurant, it's beyond charming. The wine is incredible, the service attentive and the food, well, phenomenal. I had a simple starter of focaccia followed by the sumptuous Ossobuco. Even if you think you might like Italian food, visit. This place won't disappointment. From pizza and pasta to more sophisticated dishes, it's got everything you could want, including a beautiful view, to enjoy a wonderful meal.

Could it be as good the second time round? Yes! Credit to the staff and chef. The atmosphere is relaxing, the staff friendly and attentive. This time I had the brushetta starter - incredible variety of authentic Italian flavours. And for main, the chicken, a beautifully cooked dish of chicken leg with potatoes and salad. Spain is great - a real gem of beauty, great people and mild climate (at least here at the Mediterranean beaches). The food and the wine are wonderful. But once in a while you want a change - maybe a combination of Mediterranean cuisine with a refined assortment of flavors: Italian food - the original style. There is a hidden treasure at the east end of Calpe’s beach front called: From Italy. An unusual name for an unusual place where you can enjoy good, tasty food (at a realistic prices), a gorgeous view, a nice ambiance with some incredible art exhibits all in one place. And for a change no challenges with parking. But the outstanding part is the food: Each dish with its authentic, fresh taste and there are matching wines if you lime. A real treat! AUTÉNTICO DESASTRE!!!! Reservamos a las 21.00 y nos trajeron los entrantes a las 22.00 ( fritura calamares y gambas y focaccia ) , los platos principales no llegamos ni a verlos porque la maleducada que tienen de camarera (creo que sería argentina ) , como la tuve que decir 2 o 3 veces que por favor trajesen los spaghetti para mi hijo de 3 años lo primero , que llevábamos 1 hora , salto diciendo en tono subido que “SI NO NOS GUSTABA QUE NOS FUÉSEMOS”. Mis padres , mi pareja y yo nos quedamos de piedra !!!!!! En vez de pedir disculpas por la demora , encima nos invitan a irnos … En ese momento mi padre pide una hoja de reclamaciones , al ver que no llega, se levanto mi pareja y entro dentro a pedirla y a contarle al encargado del restaurante lo ocurrido , él pidió disculpas pero llegó la camarera maleducada con tono subido otra vez diciéndole a su encargado: defiéndeme que soy tu empleada !!!!!! una auténtica desgraciada y ridícula la pobre camarera, estaría mejor dentro en cocina o limpiando porque incluso a los clientes que llegaban , les decía : tienen reserva? Y los que decían que no , rápidamente les decía entonces no hay mesa de forma tajante y se daba la vuelta. Al final acabamos discutiendo también con el encargado porque decían que nosotros estábamos de vacaciones y ellos trabajando a altas temperaturas en cocina … una explicación pésima para el trato recibido … no tenían hojas de reclamaciones y el encargado dijo que nos la enviaría a casa jajaja ( cuando es obligatorio tenerlas y de no ser así pueden multarles hasta 15.000€) no llamamos a la policía porque con mi hijo de 3 años no íbamos a armar un espectáculo, así que nos fuimos a cenar a otro sitio. Sin duda jamás volveré a este sitio !!! Ante un cliente no se puede perder los papeles como los perdió esa señora. Desde luego si fuera mi restaurante lo primero que haría sería deshacerme de camareras...
