Gran Buffet — Restaurant in Calvià

It was first time thought to give a try, asked the gentleman on the counter politely is it open and paid him. Not a single vegetarian dish, asked him again as being with children and group of 7 some were vegetarian said u had to find it. The coordinator said in veg we have salad and French fries, asked the cook he said we can’t make it. It was a worst experience with the personal over there who was charging the money and not helping once got charged. Was trying to show salami and chicken as vegetarian which even her colleague said it’s not. Got refund with a angry face saying next time check food before entering. Didn’t want to argue with family along but sure need to put in review to learn just how to communicate...

Great buffet and other home made food choices in a relaxed busy and friendly environment. Family occasions, parties, suitable for everyone. Inside there is lots out seating and outside on the terrace u are surrounded by beautiful trees for shelter and shade with wonderful mountain views, almond trees and sheep grazing in the back drop and plenty of seating to accommodate people. Hard to imagine that on the edge of this Poligino/Industrial estate of Son Bugedelles, near Sta Ponsa, that this gem of a cafe/restaurant exists. One of my all time favourite chill out spots. Worth a visit when the Saturday rastrillo/market is on, a lovely morning out! A car is needed to get there, bus services are very limited...

Buffet horrible, no se si es por que era un domingo de agosto, pero fatal, nada de variedad y lo que había reseco y muchas cosas cómo la ensaladilla congelada... y luego las bebidas de dispensador, que bueno, en muchos sitios lo hacen, pero el agua también de dispensador? 17€ que en un principio nos pareció económico, finalmente nos resultó un atraco a mano armada. Además decir que en cocina medidas Covid 0, 1 cocinera sin mascarilla y su compañera y compañero con la mascarilla en la barbilla. Las camareras muy correctas en todo momento.Sentimos esta opinión pero es lo que hemos vivido y espero que les ayude en un futuro.

RÉPLICA: Siento el error de la fecha, aunque eso es lo de menos. Usted está faltando gravemente a la verdad. Invito a quien quiera a ir y comprobarlo. No sé de qué plancha está usted hablando. Solo había un ala pequeña de fríos y otra de calientes. Luego la de postres con helados tartas y fruta. La bebida era de grifo exceptuando unas botellas empezadas de vino en una cubitera. Si aparte de eso hacían plancha (no se dónde, sería en cocina fuera ya que en la sale de buffet no) a nosotros no se nos avisó en ningún momento, y adivinos no somos. Al igual que El agua que es lo que yo bebí, era directamente de dispensadores de grifo de metal, nadie me informó que me podían simistrar botellas. Y lo de las medidas Covid le invito también usted que se pase por su establecimiento y entre en cocina... fotos no puedo poner ya que salen personas y no es legal. Pero concretamente una cocinera morena corpuleta (lo digo para que sepa de quien se trata) iba directamente sin mascarilla. Y yo no tengo el porqué mentir ni inventarme nada, cómo verá tengo muchas opiniones, no soy ni competencia ni tengo nada en su contra, de hecho no soy de la Isla. Sólo quería compartir mi opinión entre otras cosas para...
