From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the atmosphere at Moli de Sal. an old but charming Spanish villa converted restaurant , with outdoor seating with gentle lighting, and an impressive outdoor grill where two chefs worked their magic, making grilling seem like an art form.
The menu offered a perfect balance of dishes, and we opted for the "mar & Montana" combination with shrimp and lamb , mixed vegetables and grilled fish. All dishes were grilled to perfection, and the flavors were delightful. The portions were generous, leaving us satisfied. After dinner the staff offered us “Yerba mixtas” which was the perfect ending to meal - a cocktail reminiscent of herbs and absinthe.
What truly wrapped the experience into a memorable outing was the staff. our server, Christina, was a gem. Her warm and welcoming demeanor made us feel at ease, as if catching up with an old friend after being years apart. She was charming, warm, and radiant with positivity. As non Spanish speaking Americans, she patiently explained every item in both Spanish and English because we were keen to learn.
Overall, Moli de sal is a hidden gem worth discovering. The culinary journey, combined with the chill ambiance and friendly service, made it a memorable evening. Highly recommended - make a reservation...
Read moreMy partner and I has just finished a wonderful day at the beach and were starving. We happened upon this beautiful spanish villa turned restaurant woth the most amazing ambiance of warm colored stones and gorgeous plants and trees. We were exteemely lucky they had a spot available for us and we sat down for the best dinner weve had in spain so far. The vibe was tranquil. Everyone eating was smiling and talked but, quiet as they all respected the space and beauty of the restaurant. The food was amazing from the bread and olives to the mar y montaña, vegetables de parrilla and the pescado all made by two happy and talented chefs in this outdoor grill. We could see everything. Finally our waiter, christina was just the best. She spoke to us in slow melodic spanish so that we could understand her, as we are still learning spanish. She was an angel and our service was amazing. Make a reservation if you are going to be in the area. When we look back on our trip to spain this will be one of our...
Read moreThis was the first restaurant we visited and was the nearest to where we were staying. We received a warm welcome and the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. We sat outside in the garden which was a lovely setting to enjoy our meal. We started with bread and a garlic humus. We ordered water and a white wine. My wife ordered the steak and although it was tasty it did take some chewing and was not as tender as she expected and it only came with a few potatoes . My lamb and prawn dish was also tasty and it was accompanied by rice. My wife had crème brûlée and I had ice cream for pudding. Overall the food was good and the service excellent my only reservation is that the meal cost €88 and was not exceptional. At the end of the holiday we had meals that were as good and better but this proved to be the most expensive one of...
