Restaurante Ran de Mar — Restaurant in Campos

If you visit on Mallorca Ses Covetes you have to try Restaurante Ran De Mar. Very nice place with a good beer. I come from Slovakia and I really know how taste a gooooood beer...trust me:D After you get your table very cozy atmosphere is something what really shall get you. Maybe I got that luck owner of restaurant brought me a tray full of fresh prepared fishes ready to roast. I recommend Cape roig fish. That was the one I really loved it. It come from coast of Mallorca and Menorca and seems really ugly also disgusting but it was the most carnosity fish I ever eat. Maybe if you are few hours before flight and like go drink some spirits(drinks) and you dont mind that is only noon tell the owner some good jokes, he will appreciate it and drink with you;) Recommend 10/10 five stars for me. Ran de Mar restaurant - we ordered to wait it out - bread, aioli sauce, olives - a starter traditional Majorcan dish - Tumbet (fried vegetables) main course - a plate of grilled fish (octopus slightly rubbery but edible), chips, salad - Sangria wine - everything was very tasty - at the end we were given an anise-herbal alcohol to try for good digestion - we noticed from other guests that they ordered fish soup in a clay pot - it looked delicious so we came back the next day and ... unfortunately we were served soup in a metal bowl - but unfortunately the fish soup had no taste - it was some kind of watered down broth colored with something light orange with rice (the rice was of the risotto type - all dente) unfortunately the soup had no taste or smell of fish - sad because the day before it...

Very local fish and sea food restaurant, close to the beach. We have ordered fresh fish of the day, they come to you with a basket full of 5-6 fish to choose among. Fish was delicious. We have also ordered Crema Catalana, it was different than I'm Catalunya, it was with ice cream, very good in the summer. There was no need for reservation since they don't take any. The place starts to fill up with local people from 9pm onwards, as usual in the area. Parking can be hard to get in the area during high season, even though it's charged only 9-19 daily, at max 3€. Prices were rather high, the fresh fish was 39€ per person, there is also the usual bread with green olives and aioli that they charge, not a big deal there, 3.4€ for 2. We paid 103€ for 2, just fish, fresh orange...
