Bar — Restaurant in Candelaria

Extremely poor customer service. We wanted to take a table to have an ocean view. and there is was one. but waitress told us to stand in line outside the restaurant. I asked why if tables are free - because she wants to clear the tables, sounds like a joke but okay. And there was no people in line before we came but now there was and we were not the first as a result, oookaay. and it's strange to stand in any lines when we have such danger as COVID - it's better to have dirty table for short period but u will be healthy or even alive. Certainly when we got the table it was w/o the ocean view, okay. Than one family asked to change a table so we decided to change too because the one we wanted was free. I asked again waitress can we change the table to the one we wanted from beginning and she answered - you can't change the table 🤦 What's wrong with you guys? Had lunch here today with my husband and two small children. We were a little worried that "tapas-type sandwiches" wouldn't suffice for lunch, but we were wrong. We dealt with many servers (all of whom were nice and patient with our terrible Spanish). We ordered 4 sandwiches with a plate of tomatoes/avocados and a plate of fries - all to share. Honestly, we could have gotten away with just 2 sandwiches because the fries, veggies, and sandwiches were so copious. // Another perk was that the bathrooms had a baby changing table that both parents can access. Though we sat outside on the terrace, right next to the waves/breeze, the inside was also nice with all their different hams and wines on display. We arrived late (around 2pm) so there were not many people and we had our choice of a waterfront table. Overall, 5 stars. If we're ever in the area again, we will come...

Hace unos meses, fui con mi esposa y otra pareja guiado por un gustazo y salimos encantados, comida y servicio, hoy, por tal vivencia, transitaba Candelaria con un familiar, y decidimos tomarnos algo, al estar llenas las mesas colindantes con el Mar, nos sentamos en las medianías y perdimos unas cañas para ir haciendo boca, al finalizar dichas cañas nos percatamos que unas de las mesas que se acercaban al mar quedaba libre, pregúntanos a un camarero ante lo posibilidad de el cambio, y su respuesta fue positiva, dos minutos después nos comunicó que por indicaciones de su superior los fines de semana no se podía cambiar de mesa, y decidimos pagar la cuenta, para reiniciar, groso error, como represalia a nuestra acción nos sirvieron unas cañas en vasos muy inferiores en cuanto a capacidad, al preguntar el motivo ya que era consciente de que solo servían dos tamaños, y la primera ronda era el tamaño pequeño, el encargado de barra me responde con una inusitada y desproporcionada prepotencia, que si quería me lavaba los anteriores vasos, ya que solo eres unos centrilitos de menos, lo cual además de incorrecto fue provocativo y modo venganza por nuestra Acción anterior de la mesa , ante tan bochornoso acto, nos fuimos de inmediato para nunca volver , ni nosotros ni todo el que conozca, lamentable que un personaje encabeze la imagen de un negocio es triste cuanto menos, no lo recomiendo ni siendo el último oasis del desierto.

Como respuesta a la contestación del propietario de el local.

Vergonzoso que pretendan tapar sus carencias con calumnias ,como ya dije, pagamos las dos primeras cañas, 4 euros ,( con un billete de 5, y por cierto sin que devolvieran el euro ) obligados al no permitirnos cambiar de mesa, lo que no pagamos fue la segunda ronda , que no tocamos,,ni una gota y por el inmerecido mal trato y venganza por el cambio de mesa mediante la diferencia de tamaño y provocativas formas y palabras , las cuales tuvieron lugar al educadamente preguntar el motivo como expliqué en el anterior mensaje,diga lo que diga con el tamaño, conozco de sobra la diferencia, embuste tras embuste, tengan vergüenza , atiendan como deben y no mienta, aunque que esperar de un propietario que no tiene la suficiente educación como para evitar tutear , que no vuelva? Jajajaja, que despropocito, lamentable, no entiende el idioma señor? Le da alguna pista lo de para...
