We spent New Year's Eve in this tiny hotel because the nearby Parador was on strike. Can only say good things about it. Very good food, very warm treatment and the rooms are incredibily spacious and well done. Cardona is just a five minute drive away and at well over half the price, this place is much better value for money than the Parador - which by the way, you can visit anytime. I had high hopes for this hotel when I booked it, based on reviews of past travelers and the description and pictures online. For some I'm sure this hotel would knock their socks off, but for my husband and me it was overpriced, a bit full of itself, with a so-so restaurant and "free wifi" that worked only in the lobby, not in the rooms.
