During our visit to Cardona, Spain, my husband and I dined at Punt Zero, the only place in the area offering a higher level of cuisine compared to other bars, which primarily served fast food. Overall, the experience was mixed but memorable. The food at Punt Zero was very tasty, and the menu offered a wide variety of appealing options, especially for seafood lovers. However, our dining experience was marred by a few issues. My husband ordered his dish by pointing directly to the picture on the menu, but he was served a different dish. Consequently, he had to wait another 40 minutes for the correct order, which was quite inconvenient. Moreover, a big green fly fell into my drink while we were sitting inside an air-conditioned room. Although the restaurant kindly provided a replacement drink for free, the incident left an unpleasant impression. On a positive note, I appreciated the diverse menu, especially the spicy seafood options, which made it difficult for me to choose just one dish. Another highlight was the surprising presence of a robot bartender in such a small establishment. My husband and I were both impressed by this technological touch, especially since we haven't encountered such innovation even in Barcelona.

Fuimos a comer antes de visitar el castillo y quedamos gratamente sorprendidos con este restaurante. Muy moderno y con una carta de comida fusión que tiene platos para todos los gustos. Tienen un robot que sirve algunos cafés y cervezas que ya le da un toque innovador. El día que fuimos tenían un problema en la cocina y tardaron un poco en atendernos pero se disculparon repetidas veces y prestaron un servicio excepcional. En cuanto a los platos todo estaba muy bueno: Los baos me parecieron ligeros y con bastante sabor. Ideal para compartir ya que aunque vienen 3 puedes pedir adicionales. Las albóndigas de pato con frutos rojos estaban deliciosas, con muy buen contraste de sabores ya que los frutos rojos le dan un toque dulce y ácido muy bueno. De postre la crema de limón buena opción para cerrar con algo dulce pero ligero. Lo único negativo es que las raciones me parecieron muy justas.

El sitio es muy bonito y moderno. La comida está muy buena y buena variedad. La camarera cuando entras te explica que tienes que escanear con el QR y pedir y pagar con tarjeta por la web. Tener en cuenta si estáis en un grupo en la misma mesa y hacéis cada uno una comanda pedirlo más o menos a la par, ya que va por orden de pedidos. A nosotros nos pasó que íbamos con amigos y cada uno hacía una comanda y nuestros amigos se decidieron más rápido y pidió y la otra al tardar en pedir, nos vino mucho más tarde. Pedimos los tacos y los baos y buenísimo, los nachos bastante simples. Te dan agua gratis. Los lavabos y todo está muy limpio. Además también tiene un robot que te tira las cervezas en la copa y los cafés. Lo recomiendo si estás por Cardona y quieres ir a un sitio original.

We went here based on a recommendation and were happy with the decision. Ordering is done on your phone via a QR Code. Be sure to order a beer so you can watch the robot pick up a glass and pour one with a perfect head on it.

Four of us shared the Burrata salad, olives, tacos, patatas bravas, calamari, croquetas and another dish kind of like tacos, but not in a tortilla. Everything was delicious. And what a cute town Cardona is! I wish we'd had more...

Our group of 7 rolled into Punt Zero on a Sunday afternoon about an hour before they closed. The wonderful staff here got us set up with incredible burgers, beer from the robot and with the most amazing cheesecake that we've ever had.
