Came back to this place after 9 months and was really looking forward to it. All I can say is stay away from the menu of the dias, it's a very poor show. €9.50 and you get what you pay for. Stick with the main menu. We had a clam soup which was nice, bread with no butter or aliolo, then what was supposed to be ribs, was one rib with slice potato. And then mouldy cake. Tarta de chocolate and it had small spots of mould growing on it so we sent it back. They offered us an ice cream instead but we declined politely asking for the bill. They took €3 off the bill as an apology for giving us mouldy food so we were appreciative for this gesture. now we have had Absolutely astounding food here before and scenery is awesome. Totally recommend and make sure you book as you'll be turned away at weekends as very busy, but it you go during the week avoid the menu of the dias and keep an eye out for mould. I'd return here but I'd stick to the main menu and I'd be wary and look out for defects in the food.... Sorry to say. Perhaps sack the chef or whoever did desserts on Tuesday lunchtime...
Read moreThe restaurant has a great location right next to the pool, which is both a plus and a slight issue. While the setting is convenient and lively, the noise from the pool can be a bit overwhelming if you’re hoping for a quiet meal.
Unfortunately, the shared toilet for both the restaurant and pool area was in very poor condition. That alone made the overall experience feel less pleasant.
Prices on the menu were very reasonable, which is always appreciated. The fish was okay – slightly dry and lacking in flavor, but still passable. The so-called roasted vegetables were more like cold mashed leftovers than anything freshly prepared. The pasta was overcooked and bland. Also worth noting: the amount of flies buzzing around the food was quite off-putting.
Service was friendly enough, but quite slow, and no one seemed especially interested in smiling. A bit more energy and warmth would have made a big difference.
In short: good prices and a nice location, but the loud surroundings, poor hygiene, slow service and underwhelming food made it hard to fully...
Read moreWe were planning to eat lunch here, but the service whilst we had our pre-lunch drinks was so poor we skipped it. Just really unhelpful more than rude (despite me talking with them in Spanish though my wife had the same experience using English). Things like "where are the loos?" "Over there", without telling me I need to get a key from inside to use them. Then when I went back to tell them they are locked, being told I needed to get a key from inside (despite nobody being inside and I had no idea where the key was held). They were also quiet at the time, so no excuse of being rushed off their feet. With that level of service, I am not surprised...
