Cal Mau — Restaurant in Castellbell i el Vilar

My wife forgot her glasses, she went back literally two minutes after leaving the place and the staff told her they did found them. Then I went back and it took me 30 min negotiating and reviewing the camera tapes that they offer us to see for the barman/owner to pretend find the glasses on the seat, right below the seat cover...which is very, very...very suspicious, just as I was getting to the interesting part of the video of who recover the glasses they suddenly reappeared... Good food, good service and thieves. too bad.

Thanks for your reply.... but you're forgot to mentioned that you magically recovered the glasses below the seat cover of the chair on which my wife was seating on, very weird... and not the seat right next to her on which we can actually see my wife posing her glasses on mid lunch... you also become quite nervous when I was getting on the video part of who touched the chair and insisted for me to look at the video of outside...

En vacances dans la région, nous nous sommes arrêtés par hasard dans ce restaurant et c'était une merveilleuse bonne surprise 😀 La serveuse a été adorable : elle ne parlait pas français (et nous pas espagnol) et a pris le temps de nous expliquer chaque ligne du menu en anglais. Nous avons pris le menu du jour (9,5€) avec une salade composée en entrée (il y a d'autres choix) puis poulet aux pruneaux et frites pour moi et calamars à l'Andalouse et frites pour mon conjoint. C'était délicieux !! Il y a un menu enfant où les enfants peuvent choisir entre à peu près tout (steak haché, poulet, pâtes, pizzas...). Nous avons également tous pris un dessert (un client belge francophone nous gentiment a traduit la carte des desserts !). Avec tout ce copieux repas nous avons eu : 1L d'eau en bouteille + 1 bouteille de rosé + 0,5L de limonade ! Mes filles n'ont pas pu terminer leurs énormes et délicieuses pizzas et nous avons pu repartir avec les restes. Nous avons payé 36€ pour ce repas à 4, ce n'est vraiment pas cher. Outre l'excellent rapport qualité / prix, je tiens à souligner l'extrême gentillesse et bienveillance de tout le personnel. Si vous passez à Castellbell, arrêtez vous sans faute...
