Paralia — Restaurant in Ciutadella

Stopped in on Sunday 1st October 23 for a drink and bite to eat. Service was slow but with it being a Sunday with plenty of locals in this was perhaps to be expected. Eventually our order was taken and we had tempura prawns which were excellent and calamari rings which were not the best. The flavour was there but extremely rubbery. We have definitely had better. Location of the restaurant is stunning and there is a buzzy atmosphere but I would suggest it's somewhere to while away the hours rather than eat and run and whilst we have hardly tried the full menu (which does suit all tastes - including the children) perhaps the food needs to be a little more on point. Finally an observation, when ordering drinks there were no 'nibbles' served. We did observe a few tables getting olives and this may have been on request but they were family tables of locals. This was my 1st time visit here for a lunch time stop off & I found this beach side restaurant location to be excellent.The staff table service was very pleasant & the litre of Sangria was very fruity & refreshing wile taking in the beach side views.The meal order being a couple of classic burgers containing quality meat were very tasty indeed and served with a few fries aswel.The meal was rounded off with a coconut 🥥 ice cream dessert set in a real coconut shell .Payment can be made by card or cash (euros).I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this restaurant or returning back myself as it was well worth the bus trip over from calan bosch via cuitadella for the...

Paralia Is underwhelmed. Friendly staff, but the food missed the mark.

The croquetas with local cheese were delicious, but the gambas were a miss. Burnt garlic overpowered the (likely frozen) shrimp, and at €20, felt overpriced.

The €41 arroz negro was a further disappointment. Undercooked rice and a scant 5-6 shrimp left the dish lacking in flavor and substance.
