El Rincón de la Plaza — Restaurant in Coín

We have been here with my family, 2 adults and 2 children. Nice restaurant on a nice plaza. Several restaurants. We went to this restaurants because of the good reviews. They opened at 20.00 and we were the first but within 30 minutes it was packed. The other restaurants around...empty... says enough.

We have some drinks and tapas. They have an extended list of food. Most of it is tapas. But they also have bigger portions of some dishes. With the nice atmosphere the food tasted even better. We had the mini chicken burgers, patatas bravas, coloured burgers with crispy chicken, meat on a bagelbread, crispy shrimps, and some more. Good quality. When its getting busy, you have to wait a bit longer, but not too long.

The busier it got, the more staff came to work. The only guy, was very nice, looked around also. Friendly. I have aked him after we paid, if the female staff member with little nose ring, could laugh? She looked all night if she had eaten a cucaracha. No laugh, not enthusiastic, like she did not want to be there.

She is the reason of the 4 stars instead of 5. We come back for sure because its such a nice place on the plaza and good food. But that woman does not have to come to our...

Fantastic food, really enjoyed the food. We will be returning. However, the staff leave a little to be desired. That is not to say all staff are bad. When we got there it wasn't explained to us that you had to QR Code on the table had to be scanned to see the menú (it wasn't very busy either..)..Covid, while still present, has been and gone..bring back the menús to look at! :) .....again, Fantastic food, we will come back but the staff spoilt the experience for us a little. Our first visit to this very popular restaurant and we were really impressed. The menu includes Argentinian and Spanish food with a great choice. We chose a few sharing dishes which were both generous and delicious- Roquefort salad, prawn and spinach cazuela, serranito. We also tried the chicken wings and empanadillas which were very good.
