Food was good, however I am also a bar owner and I dont want to damage a business with a low review score but I must state that i was not happy that they didn't have the menu in physical format, you must download via QR code. This was frustrating because my partner had no battery and I only had 10% battery. The menu is not very easy to read on the app its too confusing and over complicated, especially when translated. We were not explained to download the QR code when we arrived, then when we asked for a menu we were told yo download the QR code, but we then weren't sure how to order via the app it turns out you don't order on the app, but actually they take your order on a pad. This was also not explained.

The food was good, ok, some was not to my liking but that's my personal taste. Also I do not like the mandatory service charge, I ALWAYS leave a tip, I had no way to remove the service charge, I still also left a tip because thats what I do but I should have the choice. The service charge is very low compared to the tip i wanted to leave therefore this should be optional.

My advice and feedback

  1. explain to new customers how to get the menu and then how to order
  2. also provide physical menu for people who cannot or wish not to use the QR code. Not everyone wants to use their mobile phone in restaurant regardless of technology
  3. the service charge should be optional. I wanted to leave a tip but didn't want to pay the service charge. If the service charge was 10% of the bill I wouldn't have left a tip
  4. make your menu offering clearer and simpler to understand. After staring at my phone with confusion for 15 minutes I took potluck and just guessed my way through the items

Overall the food was good and the venue was fine. But I won't be returning as I felt this was an awkward and confusing scenario which made me feel uncomfortable. Not something I enjoy when wanting a pleasant lunch...

Definitely a place to go and the Arte is well chosen. Good, fresh made cocktails. They were yummie! You can chose the regular version or an iced version. Tried several dishes. You can sit inside and outside. The fifth star they don't get because: the 3 cocktails and 1 icetea we ordered, came 1... by 1.... by 1..... by 1. An icetea for my little kid must be served within a minute. Took really too long the food we ordered...after 45 minutes we only had 2 little burgers for the kids and 1 bun with mexican pulled meat for me... 45 minutes... we were starving. The people, table of 2, who came 20 minutes later, got all their fried fish dishes perfectly timed after each other...🤷‍♂️ one person only does drinks. Another person you can order at. One person only brings food. Its annoying the staff does not look around.

But because the food was really tasty and cocktails were great and the menu is so extended...4 stars ánd we will give them a second chance.

Hope they improve...

Met up with friends whom we rarely see.....they chose it off the net. We arrived at 13:00 and for a short while we're the only four customers.......but even when the clientele grew, the place was spacious enough so that we could easily continue our conversations without interruption. The cafe itself is pleasantly decorated and there is a fair amount of space outside, though we chose to stay indoors. There was a wide choice of tapas and also larger portions and we sampled extensively...........the food was excellent and, considering how much we ate and drank, the bill was very reasonable. The service was really friendly and, apart from one item which went astray (no real biggie as we ordered loads), everything was delivered in a sensible amount of time. We will definitely go here again, next time in the evening to hear the live music, of which we are fans....

Was actually out for a drive and the restaurant we were heading for was closed and we then remembered Coconut Cafe which we went to about two years ago. It was busy but they found us a table in this modern tapas bar/restaurant. We set inside in a pleasant room, food was modern, menus which you download to your phone is long. It is great that they describe exactly what goes I to each dish so there are no hidden surprises. Menu is so long and compartmentalised that it's easy to forget what you looked at last. Wine was incredibly cheap and we chose an expensive one!
