We had the most bizarre experience today. We arrived at 9, party of 6 (including 2 children). Ordered some appetizers and a large Branzino covered in salt, which is one of their specialties. The appetizers came timely, and then we started waiting for the fish. At 11:00, and after several complaints, we were still waiting. At 11:30, when we noticed that a table that arrived much later than we did was getting the same fish we ordered, we simply told them to forget the fish and asked for the bill, the party was not hungry anymore. One minute later manager comes to the table with the fish, and starts pushing the fish quite unprofessionally. We reiterated we were not hungry, and even said they could put the fish on the bill, we were not going to eat it regardless. We paid the bill (the fish was not added) and then left the restaurant. One of the worst dining experiences I can remember. I will not return, and do not...

Never bring your dog to this place, even if they assure you there's no problem.

I made a reservation two weeks in advance, telling them that we would be a large group with a small dog (during the low season when the restaurant isn't full). They agreed, assuring me there was no issue and that we could sit on the terrace, which I found great.

However, upon arriving two weeks later, I was surprised to be told that dogs weren't allowed. They claimed there was no space for a large group on the terrace (despite assuring me otherwise earlier) and suggested I leave my dog tied outside (which is now essentially illegal in Spain).

While the staff tried to find a solution, the best they could offer was to leave him tied to a door next to our table, causing considerable stress to my dog.

For any dog owners, I recommend avoiding this place unless you're a...

Wonderful place either for a drink and some tapas or, preferably, for a celebratory meal. You may need to book in advancec as this is a popular location for the locals and for events like First Communions and weddings (fabulous for people watching!!) The service is impeccable and the food is delicious (try the whole fish cooked in rock salt) Do have sherry to start your meal they really know how to serve it. The wine list is extensive and they'll help you choose something to go with the food you've ordered (watch the price though!) Also the desserts are great and there is never a feeling of being rushed.
