Caelum — Restaurant in Deltebre

Can’t understand why people praise this place so much. Quite expensive for bad service and not-so-great burgers. If you need to order fries on the side, then this should be properly advertised. We weren’t asked if we wanted a second round of drinks or if we wanted dessert either.

At opening time, we saw the entire personell arrive on time (!), including with what looked like some of the groceries. As we sat down, they were setting the tables and still cleaning. Unbelievable that they have an opening time of 7pm but are far from ready at that time. Kitchen doesn’t open until 7:30pm, though this was not properly mentioned on their opening hours sign outside.

The one cocktail we ordered was super warm and the beverages like Coke came in a can. The burgers were ok but for the price, we expected more and at least some sides. For 14€, you get a burger only! The alleged secret sauce for my veggie burger was missing and the kid’s dish was bigger than our burgers. The cuacamole was a joke: just a meshed up avocado without any spices. For the price, that was not just disappointing but actually audacious.

Pro: Leckerer Burger: Die Burger im Caelum Riumar sind saftig, gut gegrillt und mit frischen Zutaten belegt. Freundliches Personal: Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Contra: Terrasse: Die Terrasse könnte etwas schöner gestaltet sein. Die Steine sind etwas unbequem und die Atmosphäre ist nicht so einladend. Fazit: Insgesamt ist das Caelum Riumar ein gutes Restaurant mit leckeren Burgern und freundlichem Personal. Die Terrasse könnte allerdings etwas schöner gestaltet sein.
