Restaurant Vistamar — Restaurant in Deltebre

The service and the staff's attitude towards us was terrific. First of all we came and had to wait around 10-15 minutes before we were even noticed. After one of the staff members finally came up to us we were told they reserved a table for us. We came in time famished but ended up like this until we got home. The reason for that was because we were ignored. When we tried to get one of the staff's attention we were told to wait in a hostile voice. We were shocked and confused with such service. If we had known that the restaurant had such unfriendly staff we would not have gone near that place. We ended up very tired with the wait and angry with the service and also annoyed. We do not recommend this place at all and will never come to that place again. Not to mention it was about 37°C and we had two children. Thanks to the restaurant we got home fuming with anger. We would rate 0 stars...

The place is really nice overall. The chicken escalop was dry and probably premade, in restaurants I prefer not frozen and premade foods The fried little fish were amazing. The cod(bacalao) was really good with the souce but they never mentioned anything about putting any smoked paprika or anything about beeing smoked...I don't eat smoked...so...not cool. I first reviewed this restaurant 4 years ago and only gave it 4 stars. Now in summer 2022 I'm giving it 5. Every year I come here on holiday( except during COVID) and stay a week, I go to a different restaurant every day, but so far in all that time this is the only one I visit twice in one week, always! Seriously everything is good for what you pay in my humble opinion, and I eat a lot of Paella the week I'm here. My only advice would be to book to avoid disappointment, and definitely eat inside, the aircon is a godsend...
