Unwelcoming experience despite an almost empty restaurant
We’re staying at the resort and decided to try having lunch at the restaurant without a reservation. There were only about five tables occupied, so we thought it wouldn’t be an issue. However, we were told that without a reservation, we couldn’t be seated. I asked if I could make a reservation on the spot, but they said, "That’s not how it works."
This was surprising, especially since we’ve actually eaten here before without a reservation — with our kids, no less. The food was good back then (a bit overpriced, but tasty), so we were looking forward to coming back.
I’d understand the need for a reservation if the place was full, but turning away guests at 3 PM when the restaurant is nearly empty doesn’t make much sense. In the end, we just went into town, where they were happy to have us.

Read moreWe were staying at the resort and no other restaurants nearby were open. We came back the 2nd time.
Quite some food was not available. We ordered pork, salmon pasta, steak and fish etc. They are again delicious.

The music was suddenly very loud and very unfortunately we were sitting very close to the speaker so we suffered.
We all agreed that the chef is top but all others need some extra training to keep it up with the level of the chef.
Sorry. I love the resorts and the chef but we definitely won’t came back again. I wanted to give one star only but this is not fair to the excellent food prepared...

Ordered: They started us off with bread, which was actually very good. However, the garlic shrimp (gambas al ajillo) tasted good but it was more of a shrimp soup, The rice was the biggest letdown, not only undercooked, but also the wrong texture. We ordered Arroz Meloso, which should be creamy, but what we got had the same dry texture as paella. My daughter’s salmon was completely unseasoned, not even a pinch of salt. For a meal that cost over €100, I expected much better quality. Unfortunately, I can’t...
