Bar Mesón los Cuñados is one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in. When we first looked at going in, we were dubious - it doesn't look much on the outside! And to be honest, it's not massive inside, but the atmosphere is wonderful - everyone is so friendly, and despite not being able to speak Spanish, we didn't feel out of place. The food - we had tapas - was amazing. The portions were gigantic, so take a few dishes at a time... the garlic prawns are spectacular, highly recommend them, as well as the calamari. The service was brilliant as well. The waiters were kind and friendly, trying their hardest to communicate easily to us foreigners! Cozy little bar/restaurant where 99% of customers are locals that know each other and have a very good time there by having a drink, snack and good chat. It does get a bit loud at times but it adds to the mood.

Food wise it was absolutely amazing! Tapas are more like full meals, huge portions for such low prices. And food was so delicious. Lots of options to choose from and very tasty. Highly recommend this...

What a fab find... after a long day... 2.30am start to get to the airport & fly to Malaga & driving to our villa in the mountains we just went into town to get something to eat. Four hot food dishes from the tapas menu, a beer & a sparklingly water... the bill came... €20 total. Couldn't believe how much decent quality food we'd had for the money. Definitely going again...
