La Taska D'el Pinòs — Restaurant in el Pinós / Pinoso

We stumbled across this bar by accident and we are so pleased we did. Only went in for a drink. Ended up having tapas too. All fabulous. No written menu but the owner tells you what he has on. We just asked him to choose for us. The food was fabulous. Cooked fresh right in front of you. He serves wonderful local wine too, and he is a wonderful host. Very friendly, great bartender and a great cook! We went back the following evening and we were just as impressed. The only down side was that he was closed on the day we were leaving, so we didn't get to try his famous burgers! Loved everything about La Tashka. Simple but...

Fab tapas. Small menu, but that is to be expected in a small town. I would prefer good quality food from a small menu, to bad food from a large menu. I had a nice white wine, patatas bravas to die for and beautiful chicken wings and corn on the cob cooked on the fire. I don't often praise places this way, but La taska in pinoso have got the best burgers I have ever had in Spain. Not even kidding. The beef is super the bread is nice and toasted to perfection.
