The best food we had on the island!

The garlic bread and the bruschetta came quickly and were delicious, even more so when considering their price of €1,20 each.

We shared a large pizza Margherita (€8,45) which was amazing: the tomato sauce was very well balanced and savory, the toppings were abundant, and the stone oven wood-roast made the pizza ever so slightly charred which is a quite the deal maker in my humble opinion. But last and definite not least; the dough seemed super fresh and had the perfect texture. I normally like my pizza base to be crunchy, which the outer rim definitely was. But in the middle it is always hard to achieve this. Well.. it wasn't crunchy all the way through the middle, however, the texture was so smooth and full that I right now doubt if this is not how I want all my future pizzas to be like.

And then the egg plant cheese heaven (€9,50) ... out of this world! Again the probable home made tomato sauce, infused with a heap of cheese and of course the egg plant; it was grilled so long that the skin became smooth as butter. I scraped every little piece of cheese and egg plant of the dish before allowing the waitress to clear it off our table.

We wanted to come back the day after, but on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesday they are normally closed, so keep this in mind! It is definitely wise to make a reservation since we were lucky to have a table...

This is a hidden gem. Small terrace, but with a nice view. Very attentive and caring staff. The prices are unbelievably low for the offered quality. We enjoyed our beef carpaccio and pizzas. The pizza dough is tasty by itself, would go wonderful just in a simple parmesan garlic focaccia. I was disappointed in the caprese salad as the mozzarella wasn't fresh mozzarella (which I missed so much on this island), nor did the tomatoes taste good. And that was the only thing I didn't like and wouldn't order again. Otherwise, I look forward to going back and trying more pizza options. Take the small version unless you're really hungry. We were left with half of each pizza. It's very tasty the...

Came to grab a coffie after arrival and before check in airbnb. Lovely service, so we booked a table for dinner. Had a pizza, real italian one after a long time, with quality ingridients and tagliatelle with bolognese served in pizza dough. Food is amazing. Update: went today again, took a pizza with dried figs and chorizo, omg soooo delicious!! Also, Astrid is the best server ever!!!
