Absolutely the 2nd WORSE Chinese Asian restaurant I have ever been unfortunate to eat in & I have been in loads. Starters was prawn toast which was actually ok. Filled by Hot & sour soup, not hot or sour. Very watery with a few bits of shredded cabbage and what I can only assume was tofu?. The main for me was " sour chicken" not sweet & sour chicken. Very bland. Girlfriend had prawn curry which was very watery, prawns still had most of their shells on. We shared house rice which had a couple of prawns in & not much else. We LOVE Sabores. We had a delicious set menu for 2, all of the dishes were so full of flavour and very satisfying with good size portions. We were very happy with the meal and we both agreed that it was the nicest meal out we have had in a long time. The set menu was such great value that by the end of our meal with 3 courses + several drinks each the total bill came to just €38 ! Very unpleasant experience. The owner of the restaurant was aggressive and rude — instead of normal customer service, we were met with hostility and disrespect. A simple request to add corn to the rice for a child triggered an irritated reaction, even though a previous order handled by a polite staff member went smoothly.

The “beef” turned out to be fatty scraps with cartilage — I felt unwell afterwards and suspect food poisoning.

There are much better places nearby — and without the feeling that they’re doing you a favor for...
