It seems the hotel has recently changed companies. Let me tell you, we almost didn't go based on the low reviews, but we were tired and had no car, so we rolled the dice. I'm so glad we did! We've eaten in a ton of places in a ton of countries, so I would say we have a wide range of different experiences to base our review on. The food was incredible and the waitstaff were attentive but not pushy or overbearing. Dined this evening in the bar on the first floor of the hotel. Food was minimal standard, drinks were ordered without even seeing a drinks menu or being provided one (of course, we got given the most expensive drinks). And by the time we were given the menu, it was time to pay (after meal). Staff were rude and manager was very abrupt throwing menus around etc. food itself was ok, but again, took around 40 mins to come out, and then even the smallest request took the longest, so we paid and left. Chicken was pink… Wish we tried the restaurant on the 0 floor, but hey ho. If you’re looking for good service, I don’t recommend the 1st floor...

Main: we had the chicken. It was freshly cooked and the chicken was well done. However, my tap water has more taste than this dish. Even the sauce on the potato tasted like nothing.

Dessert: this was absolutely horrific. Tasted like old shoe in-lays. Almost sure they used expired product.
