Don't bother! I've given it 1 star as the hostel and room were clean if not somewhat tired and the bed comfortable. Our bathroom was clean but in very poor condition with cracked tiles and stained grouting. I didn't use the shower, no way. The greeting was far from welcoming. The place was closed up and at first we couldn't make contact but a young woman appeared with a key and told us we needed to pay then. No passport book in, nor were we shown to the room just pointed in the direction of the hostel building. After we'd paid, immediately before we saw the key, she told us the bar and restaurant was closed for that evening. The fact the place had a restraunt was one of the reasons for choosing it. Nowhere else to eat in the village and we were very hungry as we hadn't eaten anything of substance since the evening before. Eventually we found a nice bar in the next village which was a 20min drive. There is no safe/secure parking as advertised. Also, we were told breakfast would be served from 7:30 am, except the bar was closed with no sign of life at that time. However, having seen the state of the kitchen when we arrived, I would not have been interested in their breakfast. How on earth this hostel is a booking.com recommendation escapes me, does not say a lot for...

Pues estuvimos hoy ,15 de Mayo ,San Isidro ,y un auténtico desastre ,bien que allí era día laborable y solo nos ofrecieron el menú del día de 9 euros ,a ese precio no se puede pedir mucho ,pero si al menos un poco de dignidad en lo que se pone al comensal . Ensalada de arroz y macarrones boloñesa de primero, por favor,por favor... Dios mío algo tan primario y que puedan hacerlo tan malo, increíble. De segundo salmón a la plancha y chuletas de cerdo , el salmón seco no ,cadáver momificado , y el cerdo estropajo de scotch- brite . Otros comensales en la mesa de al lado , también el arroz y judías verdes ,que dejan a medias,después ella también cae en el salmón trampa,suela de zapato ,y el pide las rabas ,que le traen congeladas por dentro y se las tienen que llevar y volverlas a refreir . De postre tarta de chocolate ,nada especial pero comestible ,un acierto viendo el "nivelón" del restaurante ,yo voy a lo fácil y pido pudin ,que es otra de las cosas más fáciles y simples y que puede hacer un niño de tres años ,pues horroroso. Los vecinos también piden pudin ella y el viendo el tema se pide una manzana. ( Inteligente decisión) No vayan ....,por favor solo le pido al señor propietario ,gerente etc, que coman su menú antes de ofrecerlo al publico, una decepción total después de leer las críticas aparentemente buenas que le ponían , y más estando en Belmonte y desplazándonos adrede para comer aquí. El camarero que nos sirvió ,amable y muy rápido ,de lo que ya apenas queda ,pero muchos comensales dejándose los platos a medias ,no dice nada bueno de este sitio. Supongo que el señor propietario contestará indignado ,a lo que le vuelvo a decir ,señor ,pruebe su comida y haga algo al respecto ,suba los precios ,ofrezca menús alternativos más caros ,15/20 euros ,pero por favor no ofrezca esto ,pagar 9 euros por esto es un robo ,es "terrorismo gastronomico" ,jamás comí tan mal ,ni en la mili. Lo siento no es mi intención hacer daño ,pero me he llevado el engañó de mi vida. Por favor...
