La Masía de Chencho offers an exceptional dining experience that perfectly combines traditional Mediterranean flavors with modern culinary creativity. Located in a charming rustic farmhouse just outside Elche, the setting is peaceful and inviting, making it an ideal spot for special occasions or a memorable night out.

The menu highlights some of the freshest fish around, prepared with great skill to bring out their natural flavors. If you’re a fan of rice dishes, you’re in for a treat—there are several excellent options that showcase the perfect balance of texture and seasoning, truly some of the best in the area.

What really elevates the experience is the carefully curated wine list, featuring local and international selections that pair beautifully with the dishes. The staff are warm, knowledgeable, and attentive, ensuring that every detail of your meal is just right.

Whether you’re celebrating a special event or simply want to enjoy high-quality food in a cozy, elegant environment, La Masía de Chencho is a top choice in Elche. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates fine Mediterranean cuisine with fresh ingredients and thoughtful...

We visited on a Thursday evening to celebrate my birthday, and it was the perfect choice. Recommended in the Michelin Guide, this is a classy restaurant, and was busy - and buzzing - when we arrived for our 20:45 table. Our table for two was large and comfortable for a relaxed meal. We started with chipirones which, with added garnish of garlic and nora peppers, were the best I’ve ever had. The main course was a nicely aged steak from an aged cow with foie gras and port sauce It was cooked perfectly medium rare and presented superbly on the plate. It ate tremendously too. A rare pudding was chosen, a twin-chocolate fondant with ice cream - oozing and luxurious. A perfect indication of the quality of the restaurant and its staff was my partner’s decision to leave the choice of dry white wine to the wine waiter as the wine menu was just too big to navigate. While there were literally hundreds of more-expensive options a lesser establishment might have delivered, the 25 euro bottle he brought was perfect for the occasion. Fabulous food and drink in luxurious...

Our second time, this time a bit of shambles. It took as long time to see the menu and get drinks. Ordering the wine was a error of comedy. We must have ordered the wine 5 times every time confusion. To Mitigate the circumstances it was just the main rush. All the waiters were very nice and helpful but there was no communication between them . So we practically finished our first course when the wine arrived. We have been in the business so we could see that there was no organisation. There should have been a waiter on each station instead all running around like headless chickens. Main course a similar thing for 3 of us the food was really nice but the steak , my daughter in law ordered her steak med well several times. How did it come rare ! It went to the kitchen 3 times to get there. Such a shame. It's a very elegant and obviously inn restaurant. Also we came 2 months after our first visit which was superb. But no chance in menu to take account of changing seasons ! They want to run things the easy way....
