After spending a great deal of time in Mallorca, this is by far the worst experience I have had with service , arriving at the restaurant there were approx 30 empty tables outside,we wondered over to the furthest table were it was a table for 2 , We were then told it was reserved, fair enough we were then directed to a table in the middle of the outside area in the restaurant The waiter came over and asked us what we wanted ,bear in mind the restaurant is empty at this point at 12.45 pm We said a bottle of still water ,bottle of sparkling water ,some bread and olives ,and some lemon pie and coffees,I did say we will only be 20 minutes as we had a appointment elsewhere, The waiter came back and asked us if we wanted any ham or fries with our bread and olives ,I said no Over came the manager once the drinks had been served ,he said we’re are you from ,I said England ,he said this is ala carte restaurant outside,I said oh ,still nobody else seated at this point , He then said you need to sit inside ,which is a dimly lit area with no view ,and looks run down , Before I could say anything at the top of his voice he said please inside We should of left really but it is a fair trip to this place ,and me being me said ,well give me the menu then 5 minutes later the menu arrived and reluctantly ordered mussels ,calamari and sea bass The calamari was frozen produce The mussels were tasteless probably frozen The sea bass was good ,but the salad was wilted Could of produced something better out of a tent Whilst eating the lunch, one of the waiters stood by our table for 5 minutes watching us eat ,it reminded me of my old lurcher waiting for me to Finnish my lamb chop for the bone , The bill came and the bill was 75.90 euros The waiter came with the card machine ,it would not work ,after 5 minutes of trying I had 80 euros so I gave him that ,no change was forthcoming In conclusion If you want coffee ,cake ,water ,bread and olives ,don’t bother coming here ,other places in the area will gladly look after you The manager is a complete and utter bully ,and I watched with interest how he spoke to his staff after his comment to me Food no great Service poor Toilets not clean Great location,at a price Manager needs to take a customer service course If it’s a restaurant/cafe make people aware before they sit down And possibly don’t go if you are from the uk Other people have commented on this ,I thought it might be just be my experience Left at 1.15pm 3 other...

Maybe good food?! But.

But maybe you won't get served, depending on circumstances only known to the owner.

We had rented a house in this beautiful hidden bay, knowing that we would depend on this only restaurant here to get dinner. Most reviews were encouraging, so we tried our luck. The first evening we arrived too late at 7:30 pm and it was closed - our mistake not having checked the limited opening hours in advance: restaurant closes at 5 pm, kitchen shuts down by 4:30!

So the next day we (a family of three) left the beach early and showed up hungry at 4pm. The huge terrace was filled with 100+ dining people, some tables were still available. But still no luck: the owner simply refused to serve us, as he claimed to expect a large group of guests. If we had made a reservation, well, then we might have had a chance to order something. But so, we had to leave hungry and fairly embarrassed again.

The food may be good, but the attitude towards guests willing to pay the quite substantial prices is clearly not. I recommend to bring your own food if you plan to hike or swim here and have dinner in a different place.

There might be a lot of restaurants around that deserve your attention and money better...

Great food, and exceptionally kind, and helpful staff. I came upon the restaurant in exceptional circumstances. I was visiting Cala Tuent with friends and our flights were severely delayed, meaning we weren't able to shop or hire a car to get to our Airbnb. The area is quite far from the next nearest town (Sóller), so I went to the restaurant for advice on what to do as it was the only business near us. As well as the food we ordered, the staff gave us extra provisions which fed us for a weekend. On the day of our departure, the taxi we had booked cancelled and there were no other services available. Again, we went to the restaurant for help and they went above and beyond to ensure we had transport for the day. I'm writing this while waiting to board my flight, which I can only make due to the help of the incredible staff. Special thanks to Mr. Jaime for his help. This is the type of restaurant that deserves to thrive because the food is delicious (best seafood paella I've had), and also because it's staff are wonderful people. I'll never forget...

The first impression with the Restaurant Manager was a disaster. Instead of welcoming us (4 Hungry Guys), he asked: "What Are u doing here? Are u here to eat?" And my immidiate response was: " What do you think?" But afterwards our waiter was a kind gentleman who gave us the perfect recommendations. I thank you for your hospitality. Unfortunately I didnt catch his name. He had curly hair with a knot on the back of his head. Finally The food was delicious and the view was extraordinary! My recommendation to the manager: Be more welcoming instead of being rude! Don't ruin the experience for your guests! You have such a great place which shows you are a good manager. Adding communication skills would create a perfect combination. Because of your bad manner I cannot say for sure that I would come back (not that u care 🤣)

Typical good mallorquin fish-restaurant with more than stunning view on its terrace. Great food, fresh fish, rather low priced (compared to other similar), fresh fish, great service! If you plan to drive there, be aware you must have a long drive over a pass with hundreds of curves, so it takes a lot of time but it’s very very beautiful! Check the opening hours! Depending on season kitchen can be closed at 16:30h! If you come late, you don’t have to take care of hundreds of bicycle-riders using same road and making it slow. They only go there in morning and noon…

A rather steep walk from the beach leads to a place you can have decent food (especially given the location), but don’t expect gourmet cuisine. The restaurant has been here for ages, and has no competition. This is a good thing and a bad: none of the dishes were particularly impressive, but the fish was fresh, and the calamari cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, service was phlegmatic as it is in most other establishments. Lunch took 1:30 hrs, which we thought was a bit too much. The portions are HUGE. An appetizer can easily quality as an entree anywhere else.
