Having found this Chinese restaurant/takeaway 15 years ago when me & my now ex husband were looking to buy a property here in Spain, I have never ventured anywhere else when over here. It was always a port of call with me & the ex every vacation we took over here, & after 4 years since my last visit in 2015, I thought I'd let the kids (age 8 & 10) have a of taste the experience - and we were not disappointed !!
My ex & I always took the Meal for 2 option, which is what we chose last night & due to the differing tastes of 2 young children & also the lack of adventure of trying new food with them, the Owners were so accomodating at swapping things on the menu and serving the sauces separately in case the kids didn't like them. True to form they didnt like the sauces (which pleased me at least as it meant that i had full reign on them 😜), but they were amazed by the spare ribs, chicken fried rice (substituted dish) & the pork balls which should have been part of the sweet & sour pork dish that i only got to enjoy the sauce of 🙄🙄😁
So thank you so much Guangdong for not only continuing to serve fantastic food during the last 15 years (assuming that you are the same Owners throughout this time) but for showing flexibility to allow my kids to join in the Guangdong experience. We will be back again for sure, whenever that may well be...

Atmosphere gets 4/5 stars - decent music, nicely cared for tables etc, cared for by the staff without being watched and bothered. The only reason it's not 5 is that there is a busy road nearby (sit indoors if really bothered).
I recommend using a wide plant pot with taller bushes to cover the road and alter the wind-block screen you have so it is higher up to focus the attention on the really nice high-rise and ocean view(ish) you can get. Just a small change that changes the view from the main busy road to the...
Read moreSpeedy service. Bland food. Wondering if the food has been tailored to meet the palate of locals and tourists who don't know Chinese food. It's hot from the kitchen and served fresh but generally lacking flavour. Chicken noodle soup is a clear liquid disaster and the hot and sour soup isn't hot (spicy) or sour. Chicken with cashew was too salty so that the flavour of the ginger and cashew in the dish was drowned out All the dishes needed a kick up the arse and a return to some...
