The restaurant's management and kitchen staff has changed ( And i am informed that they are in the process of changing their name as well as some other re-branding)so the food is brilliant compared to the last time we were here. The service is excellent and 'Happy' was really happy to serve us. Thank you Happy ji. If you’re white you’ll probably be content with what you get (although you do deserve better), but for someone who knows what to expect of indian food this is way below average. You don’t get what you pay for, not to mention the food simply just doesn’t taste much. Don’t order the vegetable pakora because that’s not what you’re getting. In all the food that we ordered (chicken biryani, lamb balti, chicken tandoori) it’s as if they missed the word “spice” in the recipe. This place is the best Indian food in town. The food is very authentic and fresh. The coconut rice is fantastic. The butter fish and fish korma is so delicious. Also, the dal appetizer has great flavours. The restaurant atmosphere with very friendly with fantastic service. We were chatting with the owner and he said that he took over the restaurant from this year (2024). So ignore any old reviews.
