Warning to Pilgrims, foreigners or non-spanish speaking folks. You'll be rob, no kidding. Should have read all reviews in detail.

No menu because they'll charge you whatever they want. If you really want to eat here, ask for the price... So you don't get surprised as I did.

Service- Received a horrible one. Maybe if you're local or spanish, you'd be treated more kindly or depends on his mood. This being along the Camino, I asked kindly if they have menu del día, which is not even a Camino menu. Menu del día is available in most places for €10-12 for lunch. The guy told me to go to another restaurant down the street as they don't serve menu del día because they're low staffed and can't afford to do so. But they've served it as per other reviews. But ok, fair enough, I'm a pilgrim but I'm not asking for charity. I can pay fair price.

So I asked for a menu, which they don't have any. He then narrated the 3 options available. So I picked one.

Price-. What a surprise! €17.50 for the combination plate- beef dish, salad, patatas, a caña of beer, and cafe con leche. I read a review (dated 3 months ago), they had 3 combination plates, a can of soda, and a bottle of water all for €37.50. How the heck is my combination plate so much more expensive? Makes sense they don't have a menu, they'll charge you what they feel like. I paid and left and will never return to...

AVOID! I never write reviews but this place is not at all pilgrim-friendly, especially for women. The cook was bizarrely aggressive and condescending, making rude innuendos to female pilgrims requesting the wifi password. His behavior was noticed by several members of different groups and nationalities, and was discussed the next day along the camino. In addition, the bartender insisted all pilgrims pay immediately, suggesting we were not trustworthy, while locals were not required to do so. It was the only negative experience my friends and I have had so far on the camino; sadly, we left after one pintxo and glass of wine due to the behavior of the chef...

Excellent customer service. The owner was entertaining. I ordered the beef rib as main, and it was good...unfortunately the inside was still frozen. I guess the cook was in a hurry because the place was packed. I had the cheesecake for dessert...delicious!!
