We had a rather disappointing experience at this restaurant, unfortunately. When we arrived, our table wasn’t ready, and we had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seated, even though we made reservations. After that, it took another 20 minutes for someone to come take our order. There were long waiting times between courses as well — around 20 minutes after the starter, and another 15 minutes until the main course.
Service was inconsistent throughout. The waiter first approached us 3–5 minutes after we sat down, but we weren’t ready to order yet since the third person in our party had just arrived. After that, although we tried to get their attention, a waitress only came back around 20 minutes later. We also asked a few questions about the menu, but the waiter often left without answering, and when she opened the wine bottle, she didn’t even pour it into our glasses.
Speaking of the wine — we ordered a red wine, which was served cold, straight from the fridge, rather than at room temperature. While the wine itself was good, serving it that way was a clear misstep.
As for the food, it was hit or miss. • The beans with chorizo and morcilla had tasty beans, the morcilla was excellent, but the chorizo was underwhelming. • The pad thai with shrimp was very disappointing — the noodles didn’t taste like pad thai at all, and the sauce was completely off. The shrimp themselves were not good either (and there were only three shrimps) • The chuleta de vaca was excellent, as was the codillo asado — both well-cooked and flavorful. • The fries were a pleasant surprise: clearly homemade and not frozen. • For dessert, the tarta de queso was overcooked and lacked flavor, but the lemon mousse was very good.
Overall, while a few dishes were quite enjoyable, the long waits, lack of attentiveness, and inconsistent food quality made this an underwhelming dining experience. Not a place we’d...

Read moreNot a place for food lovers. Unfortunately, this was one of my worst dining experiences. We ordered the menu of the day, and the food was extremely salty and completely lacking in flavor. Even worse, what we received was not what we ordered. The staff seemed overwhelmed and far more focused on serving drinks than attending to guests who actually wanted food. If you’re coming for a drink, maybe it’s fine — but if you’re hungry, I’d recommend...
