We just had a terrible experience that ruined our holiday evening. The waiteress has serious behaviour problems. After waiting for our food around 1h and 20 minutes, we asked about this aspect since we were hungry with a kid losing his patience. The waitress told us that it's completely ' normal' to wait 2-3 hours for food since that it's a place where people don't hurry themselves and they should come first of all for the atmosphere; beside this we would be free to go if we don't accept this long wait time. I asked at least for the hamburger of my son to be served faster, and we received the same reply that we were free to go. Finally, the food started to come in a haotically order, and the hamburger it was served with cheese, although it was requested from beginning that cheese to be removed due to the lactose intolerance my son has. The waiteress shouted to my son to eat this hamburger with cheese or to wait for 2-3 hours more. Finally, she told us that she made a mistake accepting us for the guests without having a reservation and that the "chief" was nervous because he was forced to cook a hambuger without cedar. The food was good, but we were too shocked to enjoy it due to that aggressive and abusive behaviour we experienced. We made a mistake as well to go to this "Confusion" restaurant, checking only the very good overall rating that has and neither the previous reviews describing the long waiting...

Coole Location, sehr sympathischer Koch, Dame im Service absolutes Chaos. Das Restaurant öffnet um 18 Uhr ( Google + Schild am Gebäude), trotzdem gibt es zur Begrüßung erst einmal die Info, dass ab 19 Uhr geöffnet sei, da der Ofen warm werden müsse (?). Ebenfalls wird zur Begrüßung ausführlich aufgezählt, was es alles nicht gibt, obwohl man noch nicht mal bestellt hat. Piminientos zb, wurden wir aufgeklärt, sei derzeit keine Saison. Interessant, dass wir die die letzten 2 Tage privat zubereitet haben und im Supermarkt bekommen haben. Süsskartoffelsaison ist scheinbar auch nicht. Wenn ich schon so eine kleine Karte haben, die auf 1 Seite passt, wäre fein, wenn man auch alles bestellen kann. Um die Wartezeit bis 19 Uhr zu verkürzen, gibt es hartes Brot und halbgefrorene Knoblauchbutter. Während unsere Gläser bereits leer waren, war die Dame unterwegs, um Gästen ihre Ferienwohnung zu zeigen. Kein Problem, wir warten gern. Zurück werden Tische geputzt und alle Türen geöffnet, so dass es kalt wird und zieht, sehr gemütlich. Nur auf Ansprache konnte wir neue Getränke bestellen. Die Dame im Service zu beobachten, hat fast Comedycharakter („ Wein haben wir verschiedene, ein Glas kostet weniger, die Flasche mehr. Auf Nachfrage, was „mehr“ genau bedeute, „Normalerweise kostet die Flasche 35€, heute 22“) Essen leider schlechtes Frittenbudenniveau ( con carne mit billigstem tubenkäse kalt serviert, Tomaten mit Käse für 9,90(!) mit Strunk serviert, alles primär frittiert und fettig. Best restaurant in El Hierro! The beef tenderloin is so amazing with their homemade butter! It's a must if you love red meat. The ambiance is also perfect with an excellent taste of music with just the right volume. The lights are also at the perfect level so it's cozy and relaxing. We could taste the freshness of the ingredient, particularly in the sorbet. It was so good to the point we thought about breaking the rule of not going twice to the same restaurant during our trip!
