La Guildera — Restaurant in Fuencaliente de la Palma

One of the worst place, talking about service. I think they live in the moon because they don't pay attention who got there first. I didn't have chance to try their food because we were waiting for almost 15 minutes and no body came to ask us what we wanted to eat or drink. So, we went to ask if we had to order at the bar. The "waitresses" said no in a not very polite way. Short story we left because he had to much work in the kitchen. By the way he had served two tables which were occupied after we arrived. I was talking about this with locals, and they told me that yes service is not good there. Advice, if you are going there for a coffee, it is ok. But if you are going there to have a proper meal,...

No recomiendo ir a este restaurante NUNCA. Os cuento mi experiencia y el por qué.

Fuimos a probar el local movidos por las buenas reseñas de Maps que tenía. No había mesas libres y tuvimos que apuntarnos en la lista para poder esperar un sitio. El chico de la barra nos dijo que había 3 grupos delante nuestra y que, como mucho, tardaríamos 1h en tener mesa, por lo cual decidimos esperar. Pues bien, estuvimos esperando más de 1h y media para únicamente coger la mesa. Y esto se debe a que ni la gente ni los trabajadores tienen la más mínima empatía de dejar comer lo antes posible a la gente que está esperando (que éramos unos cuantos). Los trabajadores porque no incitan a los clientes a irse indirectamente con un "¿Quieren algo más?" o "¿Les traigo la cuenta?" y estos clientes por no charlar entre ellos en otro sitio A SABIENDAS DE QUE HAY GENTE ESPERANDO (te miran como si te quisieran fastidiar quedándose ahí en la mesa, de verdad no nos merecemos esto). Y luego además los encargados del restaurante metían amiguetes delante nuestra con la excusa de "Es que han reservado antes o por teléfono". Señor, esa excusa no se la cree nadie. Se metieron delante 3 grupos y 2 de ellos TOMARON SOLO POSTRE, ¿quién reserva en un restaurante para tomarse un postre? Nadie y es la realidad. Además, si hay más gente que ha reservado, no me diga que solo hay 3 grupos por delante, dime qué hay 6 y no hago ahí el tonto esperando. Muy mala atención del personal. Al final acabamos comiendo allí, a pesar de que tuvimos varios pensamientos de irnos a otro restaurante en el que AL MENOS NOS VALORASEN. Es una pena que con la buena ubicación y la buena comida que se sirve en el local SE DESPERDICIE POR LA ATENCION TAN NEFASTA que nos dieron. Le hubiera puesto 4 estrellas pero no os las habéis ganado....

Amazing food, great prices, beatiful view of the Puntalarga beach. The service also soeaks english, they were nice to explain the menu to us and pack whatever we could not eat. The options of the menu are 95% fish and sea creatures. We enjoyed chipirones - fried little squids, salad, queso - grilled cheese and croquetas - potato mash and chicken, made into a ball and fried. When you come there you need to tell the waiter your name and wait for them to take you to the table. Which means you might not get the table you want. We waited for around 10min to be seated...
