Restaurante Casa Vicenta Pensión — Restaurant in Fuente de Cantos

DO NOT STAY HERE. I doesn't matter how tired you are or how much your feet hurt, just keep looking, anywhere is better than here. Small 3x3 rooms with thinner than paper walls, a random sink in the room that does not work, shutters that dont work and require tying your own knots to keep open. Clearly used sheets, a childishly small bed that creeks while you BREATHE while laying down, a worn down mattress, if you can even call it that. During my travels I've had to stay in homeless shelters a few times, but i have still never seen such a loveless, soulless, horrific and run down place.

Food might be good, but I wouldn't know, cause the place was closed the whole day.

And they charge you 17€ for this abomination? I regret not leaving when the host asked for money first before showing me the room, but i was severly dehydrated and couldn't see the red flags at the time.

I don't believe I've ever written a bad review somewhere, or any review as a matter of fact, but this place just shocked me. I am surprised this is legal. Save yourself the pain and sorrow and...

I stayed in Casa Vicenta while hiking the camino and I didn't like this place. I found the personnel extremly unfriendly. Also they charge fantasy prices for pilgrims e.g. 2,50 for a beer, which was expired two months ago, served with a dirty glass. The room was run down, door didn't close, bed had seen better days and was not comfy. Walls are made of paper, I could hear every word from a few rooms further down the corridor. The only good thing was that I didn't have to walk further, I was so done when...

Pensión: LA CASA DE LOS HORRORES

En mi camino por la Vía de la Plata paré aquí para hospedarme al final de la última etapa del año 2021...ya sabía que era un sitio austero y sin grandes lujos, como casi todas las pensiones...no me imaginaba hasta donde podía llegar la falta de calidad...

En primer lugar llegué a media mañana y solo era posible tomar un bocadillo de jamón, estaba bien, pero no había más, así que posibilidad de elección más que reducida.

Las habitaciones, verdadero objeto de esta opinión, no constaban de baño propio, ok...pero es que había que ver cómo estaban los baños...sobre todo uno de ellos...durante todo el tipo que pasé allí nadie se ocupó de limpiarlo y solo verlo producía daño a los ojos...restos de basura del anterior inquilino, baño sucio...etc...

La habitación en sí no gozaba de aire acondicionado (risas) pero es que el ventilador que tenía estaba roto y así se lo hice saber al propietario...dijo que traería uno...pues aún lo estoy esperando...en fin...la sensación es de nula comodidad y austeridad franciscana. NO recomiendo...
