At first sight, the establishment unfurled itself as a veritable theatre of delight: the murmuring of the sea close at hand, a crowd as animated as a jubilant chorus, and the promise of an afternoon whose memory might endure like a radiant tableau. Its setting was impeccable, the ambience resplendent, and all augured an experience of distinction.

Yet, alas, the promise was soon betrayed. The payment system, perhaps conceived with pretensions of efficiency, proved in truth a labyrinthine contrivance of inconvenience: one must queue first at a cashier to acquire drink tokens, and then again at the bar to redeem them. What ought to have been the simple joy of refreshment became instead an ordeal of tedium and futility.

Still more grievous was the condition of the lavatories. These, which ought to have been havens of discretion and cleanliness, were discovered in a state most lamentable: floors sullied, air befouled, and a neglect so flagrant that it jarred against the establishment’s pretensions of refinement. The contrast between its gilded façade and its neglected foundations could not have...

We went as a family of four to have a nice dinner. This was not the right place for that. It was a long wait to get the food even though it wasn’t many people at the restaurant. Overall the food did not taste good. The entrecôte smelled badly, potatoes were cold and the potatoes were in no in condition to be eaten. They did not give us all the food we ordered but it was written on the check even when we complained. The pork ribs consisted of only fat, not much meat and the meat was cold when placed at the table. We ordered three tapas dishes and they were very low standard and was also quite cold when we got it. Service was overall bad. Non of the workers was steady English speakers, so they did not understand when we were complaining about the food and service. The food was received at different times so it could not be consumed at the same time. Overall bad experience, and would not recommend this...

Decepcionante en todos los sentidos. NO volveremos jamás.

Fuimos a este restaurante de playa con muchas expectativas por su supuesta buena reputación. Éramos un grupo numeroso y contratamos un menú cerrado de grupo (45 € por persona), que prometía una buena comida mediterránea en un entorno agradable. La realidad fue un absoluto desastre, tanto por la calidad de la comida como por el trato recibido.

Empezamos con los entrantes a compartir entre 4 personas, lo cual ya es escaso de por sí, pero lo peor fue la calidad ridícula de los platos: • Las bravas eran recalentadas y blandas. • Las croquetas, secas como una piedra, difíciles de tragar. • La ensalada, sin gracia, como la típica de bolsa mal presentada. • Lo único medio decente fue la ensaladilla rusa, que curiosamente era buena… pero la cantidad daba para una cucharada por persona.

El pan, si se le puede llamar así, ni llegaba a una rebanada por persona. Reclamamos más y nos pusieron pega tras pega, hasta que al final, de mala gana, trajeron más pan como si nos estuvieran haciendo un favor.

A esto se sumó la falta de platos: estábamos visiblemente con menos raciones de las que correspondían, y al protestar, nos trajeron lo que faltaba con una actitud grosera y claramente molestos. ¿De verdad tenemos que rogar por lo que ya está pagado?

Además, algunos comensales pidieron milanesa en lugar de arroz, y para nuestra sorpresa, sabía intensamente a pescado. Uno de los comensales, que es alérgico al marisco, se asustó mucho. Afortunadamente, tras quejarse, le hicieron otra milanesa sin sabor a pescado

La bebida estaba teóricamente incluida, pero no fluía en absoluto. Nos quedamos varias veces sin nada en la mesa y tuvimos que ir nosotros mismos a la barra a pedirla, porque nadie atendía. Lo peor es que luego nos recriminaron haber ido, como si el problema fuera nuestro y no su absoluta desorganización.

Pero lo peor estaba por llegar: la paella. Llegamos a ese momento con hambre, ya que los entrantes fueron ridículos. Y aún así, dejamos platos enteros sin tocar. Literalmente era arroz hervido con cosas encima, insípido, sin gracia, sin sofrito, sin sal… sin nada. Un auténtico despropósito. La mayoría no pudimos terminarlo del asco que daba.
