Lovely place to enjoy a night out with quality food, a good atmosphere in terms of light, music, and openness, and a restaurant owner who cares about his guests.

The experience is somewhat less enjoyable due to the service. Some waiters were young and clearly lacked experience, and some even lacked interest in waiting the tables. They didn't react to several raised hands and brought our main courses 15 minutes after each other. This was only 15, because I complained about it to the owner. But it was nothing compared to the neighboring table, where there was an hour in between serving the main course to the lady and to the husband.

Like anywhere in Spain, dinner service starts around 20:00. And before that time, it's only drinks that can be ordered. So...

We happened upon Restaurante Albanta when the restaurant we'd planned to go to turned out to be closed. A very happy accident! We sat outside and enjoyed tinto de verano, sangría, cerveza, and a tasty ensaladilla rusa while we waited for our food. We can enthusiastically recommend the beef, pork, tomato & mozzarella salad, and bluefin tuna with tomato and avocado. The croquetas de abuela were the best croquetas I've had in Spain or anywhere else, and my nine-year-old loved the fingers de pollo. :) We went back on our last night in town and everything was equally delicious! Best of all, the staff are so kind and welcoming, and very patient with our Spanish attempts. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Thank you for your hospitality,...

The place is set in a very good spot and you have a restaurant upstairs and an outdoor area with quite a few tables and a nice setting. The rodaballo, bacalao, berenjenas and pastela were very good. The carrillada was just ok and the camembert salad wasn't very good. The worst part was that we ordered 3 appetizers and they came one by one in the space of an hour and a half. We had to complain around 45 minutes after we ordered but it didn't speed up things so we were tempted to leave the place. 1h30 mins after we got our mains but we weren't that hungry. The only good thing was that they recognised the issue and discounted all the drinks from the bill. Obviously we didn't dare asking...

A super little restaurant and bar for a night out. The restaurant is on top of the bar and is nice and cosy perfect for dining. The food was excellent and well presented. Our waitress was friendly, helpful and provided great service. There is a bar downstairs for all your drinking desires with a really nice outside seating area and one of the biggest cats I've seen in a long time 😀
