The place is absolutely amazing, we have discovered it on our first day of stay on Tenerife and proceeded to visit it every day at least once. The owners are extremely kind, you feel here as if you were the most welcome person in the world. Also the food is spectacular and home made, we can recommend pizza and omelette, but the thing we ordered here every day was el barraquito and we loved it. A fantastic bar, the staff are friendly and polite. They enjoy chatting and are just generally really nice. Everyone else walking in and out seems to agree as they're all happy. The food is good value, and nice as well. I had a steak sandwich for €3, unbelievable! I hired a bike from here too, which was well maintained and a great build and that I enjoyed riding up Teide. Highly recommended...

What a place and what a guy Rafael is!! I love this cafe and have been going for the last few years when cycling and I have to say it is often what keeps me going when climbing Teide thinking about the fruit smoothie’s, cakes and home made omelette’s, absolutely brilliant and the service from both Rafael and his wife is superb!!
