Restaurante Arepera de Mala Jojoto y Millo La Única — Restaurant in Haría

We have been to this lovely restaurant for many years since 2017 the first time we visited Lanzarote. Delicious food, reasonable price, friendly staff. But this is my first time to leave review to this restaurant until yesterday I was so deeply moved and very thankful by their warm help when we were trapped by the extreme weather when cycling. We were both soaked a lot after 30 mins cycling in the heavy rain down from the mountain. According to our original plan, we still managed to get to Jojo restuarant. This place was okay. When we first went here the staff were overly friendly. The food was great so we thought we would go again. Yeah big no no. Don't ever return to a place again. Even though they are overly friendly. 2nd time round, staff wasn't that friendly. You would think that coming back they would be pleased. Yeah no is the answer to that one. The food wasn't that great 2nd time round. Never gave us a free shot of liqueur when we had the bill, did the first time round. Had the cheek to charge us for a pint of beer which we had two not 3. So they took that off but no apology. Wouldn't return again. I'll say just go the once but...

Found on maps reviews. What A gem of a place. Wife had prawn&avocado starter came out has big as a main course. Top quality prawns. I had fried cheese&jam, 8 triangles of gently Fred cheese. Nice. Mains were amazing.Columbian fillet with roquefort sauce, patatas bravas with peppers&onions. Best steak I ever had. Took half back to our apartment. Wife had beef stroganoff again a huge portion with patatas bravas. With 3 drinks cost 69 euros. Stuffed need a lie down. Well done to all staff....
