Today was the 3rd time in 3 years that I back in this restaurant. I always like to go back in places where I feel good. Today I was drinking wine with my partner before having lunch, the senior waiter (maybe the owner) was really kind as he accommodated our request. While waiting for 1:30, I took the menu, just to have an idea of what to order, so when we went to our table, a young man came to table asking if we were ready, so I asked to have the menu back as I couldn't remember what was on the menu, especially because was written in Spanish. The guy went ballistic, he told me that I was looking at menu outside, so he got annoyed and he shake his head I don't know why. So when he came back, I asked him if there were any problems, he looked a me saying problems? Mira at your menu!! (Look at your menu) he went back mumbling. Obviously I felt so bad, it almost ruin my lunch. I was about to leave as I didn't want to spend money in this place after this treatment, most important I couldn't explain to myself why I was treated in that way. Plenty of other restaurant in Lanzarote, where people will look properly after you. Can't...
Read moreDo yourself a favour, don’t go to this restaurant. Along with my family (four people) we came at 3 pm to get some lunch, we were done eating at 5:30 pm. The service was awful. They were disorganized. We waited 30 minutes just to be seated, when there were many tables empty. Once we were at the table we were served a good bottle of wine (the best part of the lunch, probably because the bottle wasn’t produced by the restaurant), we almost finished the bottle before even we ordered, they came to get the orders after approximately 30 mins we were seated. After that we waited 40 more minutes to get the food. The quality of the food was ok, but the service was awful. They aren’t humble enough to close the kitchen and refuse further costumers. I always hate giving bad reviews to restaurants but I’ve never been to such a bad restaurant, there were piles of plates stored on the table inside because the kitchen couldn’t clean them. This was the level of the...
Read moreCome to the village after going to mirador del Rio. The best restaurant we wanted to try was closed. Drove through, saw two other restaurants full of coach party tourists so decided not to stop there and then found this little gem in the front. You’ve got to find it, it’s hard to get to (walking only) and it was open. Nice views, seating outside in the sun or in the terrace. Only 2 waiters made for interesting service. Menu was ok. Lots of seafood. Tapas. Was tasty and ok. Nothing to write home about but ok. We had pastas, gambas (is it normal to leave digestive track in?) , croquettes (ok but bland), frozen, baked bread. Sangria and a beer plus water. 53 euros. Reasonable I suppose. Some customers KICKING off over slow service (kitchen stretched) so glad we got served...
