YAMASAKI — Restaurant in Ibiza

We waited half an hour to be served while we were the first costumers of the evening, 15 minutes after opening. The staff rather set the tables then serve us. When we were finally served, no friendly word of welcome, no smile, no eye contact. Inside I saw people trying to draw the attention of the staff with the same effect: no reaction. Only after all the tables were set with a speed of a snale, we finally could order but you have to work for it! After 2 rounds of servings, we were now completely ignored with the plates stashed om the side of the table. We wanted to order desert but after half an hour being actively ignored, also inside when asking for the bill, I decided to stand in the door opening so I could not be ignored any longer and asked for the bill. Ofcourse a tip was not going to happen any longer where I always do. The staff acted like they are prisoners of war and hate doing what they do. I have never been so actively ignored in a restaurant as here, not even in France.

Hemos ido a las 14:15h y hemos salido a las 16:30h. Primero de todo, para entregarnos los primeros platos que habíamos pedido, han estado 30 min literalmente... nos los han traído uno a uno y muuuuy lentamente, comíamos un plato y a los 10 minutos nos daban otros dos. Hemos pedido dos veces más platos y se han olvidado dos platos que habíamos pedido; se lo hemos dicho a uno de los camareros y nos ha contestado con: Sí, han salido. Y nosotros le hemos dicho: No, porque no nos los hemos comido, aquí no han llegado. Se ha reído y se ha ido a continuar con su "trabajo". En la mesa de detrás nuestra, tampoco les han entregado dos platos, y resulta que se los habían dado a la mesa de al lado. Los han vuelto a pedir y se los han traído muy tarde.
