Excellente surprise que ce restaurant. D’abord le cadre, à quelques kilomètres du centre d’Irun. Un parc municipal bien aménagé, avec tables de pique-nique, on peut venir avec son chien ou des enfants ; une jolie vue surplombant Irun, la Bidasoa et la baie d’Hondarribia, d’un côté ; de l’autre côté, on peut admirer la montagne et les trois couronnes. Le restaurant en lui-même propose une belle terrasse en extérieur, avec de grandes tables en bois bien espacées. On s’assoit sur des bancs. Accueil sympathique, comme les espagnols savent faire. La cuisine est évidemment locale, faite au moment et très savoureuse. Nous avons notamment dégusté des pimientos de padron cuits à la perfection, un délicieux merlu à la plancha, et un riz au lait maison parfaitement cuit. Nous recommandons chaleureusement cet endroit.
