Casa Pepin — Restaurant in Isla Cristina

Terrible experience. The only good thing we tried were las coquinas. After that everything was just getting worse and worse. We ordered cooked prawns -12 euro for 7 little prawns was just an absurd. The most we have ever paid for gambas. Absolutely ridiculous. Later we got served choco frito which tasted like rubber tyres - not recommending. And the last and least was a plate of salmonettes- took them 40 min to fry them and we had to cancel that plate so can't tell whether they were tasty or not. Never again and do yourselves a favour and don't get even close to this place. You will save yourselves a time,...

Today,we want to eat and drink in the Restaurant Pepin. One Table was free,but not cleanded. After a fiew Minuten comes a man,personal,and said us unkindly,that the table is not free,there were perplex,they are waiting. Okay,no problem, but it was unkindly and not helpfull,to give us another table. There stood tables free on the side. Please,speak with your personal, we are german People to bring money to spain,and to your Casa Pepin. Greetings...

Pongo 3 estrellas porque realmente la comida está muy rica y no sería justo no destacar eso. Sin embargo, tras casi diez años veraneando en Isla Cristina y tras varias malas caras y malas contestaciones del camarero habitual, este fin de semana he decidido poner aquí una reseña sobre este hombre porque no considero que sea razonable como trata a los comensales. El que suele estar, un hombre con gafas, es SÚPER desagradable y MALEDUCADO (señalo lo de las gafas porque en otras temporadas pueden tener a más compañeros atendiendo y no quiero que paguen justos por pecadores). Como sea un día que por lo que sea haya más gente, olvídate. No sabe gestionar la presión y trata muy mal a la gente. En los días tranquilos simplemente es desagradable. En serio, en Isla Cristina se come fenomenal en muchos sitios y por precio similar, en esa misma plaza donde está este restaurante justamente hay muchas opciones (que son por las que nos hemos decantado el resto de la semana). Recomiendo que sean más cuidadosos con el trato al cliente porque la gente no está para aguantar esas tonterías. Y...
