Casa Suerteluna is a rambling, quirky house, full of character, set amongst vines, with superb mountain and sea views. Giacomo and Mari are warm, friendly, genuine people who made every effort to ensure our comfort and enjoyment.||My birthday meal, cooked by Giacomo, was a nine-course wonder. ||We experienced most of the seasons during our week's stay and did not have much opportunity to enjoy the lovely grounds. However, there were sufficient spells of good weather to allow us to enjoy the spectacular scenery that this end of the island has.||A word of advice if you are hiring a car: don't do as I did and go for a cheap ( old and underpowered) model. This accommodation is absolutely not suitable for families with young children. The house is on 5 levels. There are stairs absolutely everywhere. Some do not have ramps or even guardrails. Your child could therefore fall 3 meters. The outdoor play structure has not been maintained for several years, the fasteners rust. The pool looked like a pond. There was a 20 centimeter hole on the balcony floor of the top floor, the wood was rotten. You can also come with your pillows and sheets as the ones provided were yellowed.
