Wok Buffet Mediterraneo — Restaurant in la Nucia

(Edit the food is the best in Alicante so decided to give it another chance, the pork is specially good much better than UK Chinese meals with pork because here it comes with crackling attached so increased rating to four stars) Nice food but my brother doesn't like Chinese so I just got him a large coke as he was waiting for me to eat so told the woman one for all you can eat and two large cokes, I had two places of food then was going out for a cig so give my brother €20 to pay with, she tried to charge him for two all you can eat €30 something so he had to show her his plate and said only 1 person had food, so she told him €15 (I new was going to be around €18 that's why I give him a €20 note), next minute he comes back to the car and she runs out screaming like we've just robbed the place, my brother had to go back in an pay the remaining €2 something which is fair, but don't come out bloody screaming and making a show of your customers over your own mistake is my opinion specially after trying to overcharge him in the first place... So even though the food is nice I only give two starts due to the crazy Chinese witch...

Very clean establishment, with lots of food and variation and an excellent buffet experience. HOWEVER, depending on what day or time of day you go, the food may have been sitting in their trays, for who knows how long. The vegetables are starting to shrivel up, the meats are in puddles of their own juices..... during the pandemic the breaded shrimps were awful and tasted of ammonia. VERY DISGUSTING! On good days they are excellent, hot and tasty. So its kind of a gamble when you go here. The man who cooks you the raw food you bring him, is NOT friendly, does not smile at all and will not engage in friendly conversation AT ALL. Prices are high and this would be ok if the quality of the food was more constant and good all the time. Drinks are VERY expensive even though the second drink is free. They charge children as adults based on height, not age. Its a fun place and good food, IF you are lucky and go...

That's a good place to go, but go there for the WOK ! Especially if you like sea foods and fish. The quality is there and the chef make it good, I recommend you the house sauce /salsa de la casa spicy but not too much ! There's lot's of others things you can get there but that's "standard" (low). The worst part is the dessert damm that was really poor. The place is big and clean if you want a good WOK go there if not then you should found another option. Drink is 2€ normal size big size is 3,50€. Meal cost...
