Not recommended at all. There are many issues this place needs to seriously rethink:
We arrived to find no lockers available for our belongings. What are we supposed to do with our valuables? Why didn’t they plan for enough lockers? This was on a Monday — I don’t even want to imagine weekends. We were convinced to purchase waterproof phone pouches for an extra fee, only to discover that they’re not allowed on most of the rides. They thoughtfully painted parts of the floor a light yellow so it wouldn’t absorb heat from the sun, but then painted the main walkways dark green, which got as hot as burning coals. We had to wear flip-flops everywhere. The lines for the best slides were painfully slow, and we couldn’t help noticing people skipping the queue with their own inflatable rings. We later found out you can rent tubes on site (for an additional cost, of course), but when we tried to rent them we were told they were all already taken. Seriously? They could not have bought enough tubes so there would be for everyone? What…? The regular slides were old and poorly maintained, with visible joints between the sections. Getting scratched on the back really kills the fun for everyone. We bought a crepe to cheer ourselves up but it was so hot we couldn’t even hold it. I asked for an extra paper to place underneath and was told it would cost extra. Come on… You clearly have a systematic problem with a product that’s too hot to handle, and your “solution” is to squeeze another 20 cents from every customer? Pathetic and embarrassing. We rushed to leave, only to have a security guard block our way. He insisted we park the car and walk in the heat to a distant location to pay for parking — which we had no prior indication would be charged at all. Apart from that security guard (who I don’t blame, he’s just stuck with the unpleasant job of squeezing more money out of people at the end of their “experience”), every single staff member we encountered was unfriendly and lacked even the most basic customer service skills.
Overall, the place felt more like a money trap than a family attraction, and we left wondering how such poor planning and service could still be...
Read moreFantastic day out with 4 adults and 3 children all aged 7 years old. Got there at 1030am but was a long queue at the ticket desk as everyone seemed to be producing a discount coupon which the person in the ticket office read from front to back each time! Definitely better to pre book as you can bypass this line by showing your ticket on arrival. There is a charge of 5 euros for parking (lots of spaces!) 5 euros for lockers, 5 euros for sunbeds although we paid for a Balinese Day bed located by the kids splash park which was well worth the 25 euros split between two families as it provided a base in a spacious area and we weren't crowded by other sunbeds. The waterpark is impeccably clean with lots of staff and lifeguards manning all the slides The only downside was having to pay for the hire of ring floats (single and double) but by 11am they had all gone! Also very annoying was that if you wanted to go on a slide that was ring only (some rides you couldn't go down just on your bottom!) You had to wait for one of the very few rings assigned to that slide to come back down which was then passed on. If you had hired one you could jump the queue and go straight to the front! Would be much better if they had a larger stack of floats at each ride free of charge. Lunch was reasonable and food good! Plenty of refreshment stands too. With so many waterparks in Benidorm to choose from we had already sought advice on the best option for younger families like ours. Aqua Natura was recommended and it didn't disappoint. There are plenty of slides for all ages and levels of braveness! La Cresta is awesome as is kamikaze and multipista - probably best to hold onto your bikini! Fantastic day...
Read moreLeaving my review from a single parent of two kids view point. Arrived from new side of Benidorm, via taxi, pre purchased tickets online and did duo of zoo and park. (Cheaper to pre book) Like most will sugget; zoo then park. Which was nice, but the downside to everyone having that idea and us being leisurely when I arrived, no lockers (6 euro) (no sunbeads either so struggled to leave stuff anywhere) were available. I did have a waterproof bag for my phone/cash already. But personally I can't relax leaving my bag of clothes on the side. My kids aren't into big slides; well one would be but can't leave the other to go with them. But plenty of splashing in pool. We got some food towards end of day, wasn't great and was very expensive so should have packed a picnic. If I did again, I would maybe try grab a locker then go back to zoo. I chose here as it meant to be better for smaller children. Can agree it was ideal for that. As a single parent of more than one, just be prepared that it all choas keeping kids in one place. This was my fear of such a place, and I have really well behaved children but I'm also blind and it wad heaving. Toilets in both zoo and water park were quite grimy (and slippery) Taxi rank is outside park to get home. Buses are available as well. Upsides was that there was a banging atmosphere Staff all pleasant Would have been more amazing if I had been able to lock up stuff, it did make managing kids and interacting...
