During my recent visit to Corralejo, Fuerteventura, I had the pleasure of dining at Buddha, and it was truly a highlight of my trip. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by a warm, inviting atmosphere and attentive staff who made me feel right at home.
The restaurant boasts a charming blend of modern style with a laid-back island vibe, perfect for both a romantic evening or a relaxed meal with friends.
The menu is a delightful mix of local flavors and international cuisine, catering to various tastes. Highlight had been the carefully selected Valentines Menu.
The wine list was impressive, featuring a selection of local Canarian wines that paired perfectly with the meal. I highly recommend trying their volcanic MalvasĂa white wineâit was crisp, fresh, and complemented the seafood wonderfully.
To finish, I couldnât resist the homemade chocolate cake, which was creamy, rich, and a perfect sweet ending to an exceptional dining experience.
The service throughout the evening was impeccable. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. They happily offered recommendations and ensured every detail was taken care of.
Overall, Buddha in Corralejo is a must-visit. Whether youâre a foodie seeking authentic flavors or simply looking for a beautiful spot to enjoy a great meal, this restaurant delivers on every level. I left with a full heart and a promise to return on my next visit to Fuerteventura. Highly...
Read moreThe staff was super nice and friendly and the place is really pretty. However the food is super disappointing.
We got the garlic shrimp and the chicken wings for appetizers; the oil felt like it was used before and there was a weird taste and the wings was a little dry. The tuna tacos were just chunks of meat and were dry. Would have been nice to get any sides or anything to make the dish more interesting. The Buddha salad wasnât bad but it was mostly mangos and avocados, it lacked complexity and texture. The dessert was the lava cake, it didnât have any molten chocolate and the ice cream tasted like cheap grocery store ice cream not even the nice type. Our favorite was the complimentary croquettes they gave, it was really good.
I still have to mention that the staff went above and beyond and the presentation in general...
Read moreWe were slightly unsure of how this place would be because of the small number of lower reviews but we were SO glad we decided to visit in the end.
The food was the best we have had in Fuerteventura all week! The service was amazing - our waiter was so funny and attentive. The food was quick and the complimentary amuse bouche (squid croquetas) on arrival was delicious and welcomed.
We had the tuna tacos, garlic prawns, beef ribs special with sauce, cheesecake and french toast desserts, and 4 soft drinks, and it was âŹ80 which we thought was very reasonable.
We had no trouble finding parking nearby. And not be fooled by the slightly strange outside - once you walk in, itâs so lovely! The atmosphere was calm and...
