Arrived here for a drink. I'm not sure who served us but hopefully it wasn't the owner. He was rude. We asked for a drinks menu, said he didn't have one, the drinks on display were all he had (we later saw the cocktail menu on the wall), he came outside where we were sat and split the table as we were sat on a table of 4 when we were only 2, which I totally accept (the only other table of 2 was taken) he made a very big song and dance about it. He then came out and threw a menu on our table. Maybe the man has an issue with English people, maybe he just didn't like the look of us, maybe he was the wrong way out? We were happy, friendly having had a lovely little holiday and were happy and smiley...certainly didn't expect this hostile manner. Maybe he was having a VERY bad day. Either way, I felt sad for him. ...

Super accommodating - made space for the big group of us and the host was friendly even though he was often rushed off his feet. We came back twice in the time we were visiting Correlejo - the food was delicious, albeit simple and a small menu, the food really hit the spot. In particular, the Thai wrap was so good if you're fancying something more on the lighter side. The homemade fries were also super tasty, though sometimes a little overcooked. There's an added bonus of the downstairs play room where there's a pool table and football table that you can...

Popped in early Sunday lunchtime to grab a kebab and chips (don't judge me) and for €7.50 I would say it was good portion sizes and tasty enough to warrant another visit. If I was to criticise anything I'd say that possibly the fries were a little too well done (perfect for me though) and the oil maybe could be a bit fresher (but I'm no expert!) and I'll skip the sauce in the kebab as it was white (garlic / mayonnaise?) and in my book it's chilli sauce or nothing in a kebab! However, overall I definitely...

Absolutely love this cafe located to the south of Corralejo (near the giant Mercadona), run by Gino, the charming Spanish owner who cooks simple food wonderfully. Fabulous light lunch? €10 for divine wrap, homemade coleslaw and coffee. Wonderful view over the malpais (lava fields) to turquoise ocean and Isla de Lobos. Great place to meet friends for coffee, breakfast or lunch. Gino is fluent in English (though do try Spanish, always appreciated) and utterly charming.
