My favorite pizza in north FVT❤️❤️❤️ Super nice service and the best taste of ingredients, perfect pizza dough

is reopened as a high standard restaurant (looks like). Interior design i realy like. Service very nice and smiling, also plates and glases seems quality and thats it what we like in our visit. Food was ok and thats it, but nothing really teasty, Nothing special in ideas and ingredients of dishes. What is special are prices... In the end the worse was proporcions beetween size of porcion and the price, its misunderstood. I got that quality ingredients has its price but size and price of parmegiana 12euro for piece in my opinion100-150g is far way too much, its just eggplant, tomatoes, parmegiano...to be honest a little parmegiano enother starter smoked bocinegro that has no smoke flavour 15euro that was 3 bites is an absurd, similar pasta with small octopus piece for 20 euro, porcion of tasty home made pasta i belive was les than 100g.. Filtered, still, room temperature water taste very bad. Unfortunatelly nothing really to comback for... missing the good pizza that...

During our vacation in Fuerteventura we had the pleasure spending time (3 times!) at Locanda Il Gatto Rosso, and we would like to express our sincere appreciation for the dedication that Anna and Giovanni put into their business. The selection of local ingredients is truly exceptional and is reflected in the tasty and authentic dishes they offer.

Moreover, the execution of the meals is impeccable, and each bite is a real delight. What makes the experience even more special is the warm hospitality of the owners: Anna and Giovanni know how to make their guests feel at home.

I highly recommend visiting this inn for anyone looking for an authentic culinary experience in a family-friendly atmosphere.

We ate at this place two times. Once during slow and second during peak time. Very different experience during both times. Even though they have a very specialized menu which is good, service was polite but slow. When we were finally served the food, it was just not right. A tasteless overpriced pasta served in small portions. My meal was just not edible. I don't remember if I have ever not eaten my meal at a restaurant, and this was the first time. For 20€ meal I kinda feel ripped off and hungry at the end of the night. Service was once again slow when we needed to pay. Attention was given to internal tables and not ones outside. Total bill - 70€ for four meals and drinks. All in all hit and miss.... not for my taste or my wallet.

We went there because we saw the photos on google an the food looked very authentic Italian. We arrived there and did not like the location, but it was interesting to discover more. In fact the staff was very friendly, they were Italian from Naples, the husband cooked and she was serving the clients. Very impressively she was serving clients whilst carrying her just born kid around. The food was something exceptional and recovered all the missing stars for the location. The quality of the ingredients was very high, simple receipts but if great Italian taste. We were very satisfied and we highly recommend this location for any dinner where you look for good food and don’t care about the location.

STUPEFACENTE!!! Trovato tramite trip advisor ci ha incuriosito il fatto che avesse quasi 5 stelle piene e le recensioni sulla pizza e sul caffè ( siamo napoletani) ed abbiamo quindi voluto provare. Tutto ci aspettavamo, tranne di innamorarci del locale e del suo cibo….. Giovanni ed Anna ti fanno sentire a casa e come quando sei a casa con la mamma, mangi i piatti più buoni. Innanzitutto una menzione alla birra servita nel boccale ghiacciato(una finezza), Ci siamo stati 3 volte in una settimana ed abbiamo assaggiato tutto io menù. Giovanni (lo chef) è riuscito a trasportare la cucina italiana ( nello specifico, Napoletana e Pugliese) a fuerteventura coniugandola perfettamente con i prodotti tipici locali. Quello che è affascinante è che sia stato in grado di farsi fare anche i prodotti impossibili come i friarielli napoletani, la mozzarella di bufala e la burrata affumicata. I PIATTI: Ditali con barracuda (eccellente piatto al cucchiaio) Spaghetti con i ricci ( di così buoni raramente ne ho mangiati , nemmeno a Napoli) Ragù di Capra ( a Napoli ci mettiamo 5 tipi di carne diversa, ho pensato “qui mi cade” ed invece CHAPEAU, ho ripulito anche il piatto con la scarpetta) Polpette fritte ( come trasformare un classico napoletano in Tapas gustosissime). Pizze (tutte buonissime) Bruschette miste ( friarielli, peperonata, zucchine a scapece e scarola ripassata , non sembrava di essere all’estero) HAMBURGER ( fatti in casa ed infinitamente buoni e cotti perfetti) Caffè rigorosamente italiano è fatto con la moka. Anche le patatine fritte erano speciali. Ci siamo fermati tutte le sere a chiacchierare con i proprietari prima della chiusura e Possiamo affermare con certezza che il segreto sta nella passione che ci mettono e nella ECCELLENTE qualità di ogni singolo prodotto sapientemente scelto. La loro presenza sull’isola mi ha messo Il tarlo in testa…compro casa a fuerteventura. Ragazzi grazie di ESISTERE!!! Vi posto poche foto perché i piatti erano talmente buoni che non facevamo a tempo a fotografarli 😬
