Bar Jalisco — Restaurant in la Vall de Laguar

Fantastic place with plenty of seats and space, with a wall filled with trophies and a tavern cat or two there's plenty to chat to the staff/owner about if travelling alone or in a small group. The menu had some great dishes, I recommend the artichoke and the bravas but I didn't have time for a second visit to try more.

Another gem in Benimaurell and another place that allowed us to bring our dog inside although she wasn’t keen on the cats that kept coming in, the locals kept kicking them out though. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, the food was excellent and a good price....

Only open for lunch and what a nice place. They make everything on the spot and it feels like home. We had a mix of meat dishes going from lomo de cerdo a la plancha to croquetas de butifarra. All very tasty and with nice local white wine to go with it. Recommended spot in...
