La Bodega — Restaurant in Librilla

It was the best and the coziest restaurant that we went to in Spain during our stay in the Murcia region. What a fantastic surprise !!! The food was delicious and fabulous. The waiter was friendly and spoke English fluently. We ordered prawns for the starter. They were fresh and delicious, the garlic dissolved in our mouths!!! We ate beef cutlets and scrambled eggs. It was heaven in our mouths! The meat was tender and delicious. As a dessert, we got a chocolate cake that brought back childhood memories of the taste of oranges mixed with milk chocolate. The talk with the owner of the restaurant, Senior Antonio, was so lovely and friendly. It was a real pleasure to be guests there. Even though we were the last guests, he came to our table and gave us a drink that was a speciality of the house. We enjoyed the taste of that drink a lot!!!

We were so enchanted by the meal and the atmosphere that when we paid, we gave him a generous tip. At the end, Senior Antonio said farewell and gave us a very nice gift to remember our first holidays in the Murcia region with (photo attached).

Stay health and happy, Senior Antonio! Congratulations to you, your waitress, cook, and the whole team!! Well done!!! We will go back to Spain one day just to visit your wonderful restaurant again !!!!

Íbamos dé Malaga hacia Barcelona y no queríamos comer en un área de servicio y buscando por las reseñas decidimos para aquí a comer. Cuando entramos estaban recogiendo y el Sr. Antonio, muy amablemente, no dice que no nos marchemos que nos servirían de todos modos. Nos pedimos el menú, ensaladilla rusa(buenísima), tortilla de patatas con calamares( impresionante) y el guiso de patatas con carne( un majar para los dioses) y los postres caseros a cual más bueno.
