I recently visited this restaurant during a trip to Valencia with my friends. We were staying just outside the city in a village and were craving Indian food, so we found this place through Google Maps. Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by the restaurant's ambiance, which was both elegant and inviting.
We ordered a variety of dishes, and while the food was good, it wasn’t exceptionally outstanding. However, there were several aspects of our experience that stood out:
The staff was incredibly welcoming and greeted us with a positive and friendly attitude. We appreciated the complimentary papad and chutney that were served while we waited for our meal. The presentation of the food was lovely. The ambiance was superb, with a distinctly Indian vibe complemented by soft Indian music in the background.
One area for improvement could be the flavor of the food—it was good, but it could be even better.
Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience, and I would recommend this restaurant for its atmosphere and...
Read moreToday was the opening of this restaurant and I really enjoyed my visit with a group of friends. It has a colourful simple comfortable interior and outside seating too. The staff, though slightly inexperienced, were very attentive, friendly and helpful. They spoke English and Spanish. The menu has good choices and it’s cooked and presented well and good portions. It was very very tasty. They are open twice daily and everyday and do a takeaway service. I had only 2 minor issues probably due to it being the first day. Their card machine wasn’t available so it was cash only which is fine if you know in advance. The air conditioners didn’t appear to be on (though we didn’t raise it with them). I definitely intend to go back and I wish them well. UPDATE:- I’ve now been back on 2 more occasions. The opening day teething problems were gone. The food was even better, and I could find no problems at all. They put so much effort into making guests have an enjoyable dining experience. Well done. I am pleased to change...
Read moreFamily run, authentic Indian restaurant, whose food never fails to please. Service with a smile, the team speaks both Spanish and English. There are equally as many locals visiting as there are Brit expats (one of their staple clientele, and a good barometer of a good Indian restaurant) and the variety of curries and dishes on offer is amazing.
Forget the over-priced small portions you get from Swagat in the nearby L'Eliana. If you want a REAL taste of India, that is delicious and reasonably priced, then dine here.
You can also call ahead if you want to order a takeaway, and if you dine in, you'll most likely have some food leftover to enjoy the following day.
I love their Rogan Josh and Jalfrezi curries, their onion bhajis are amazing and their lemon infused rice is to die for!
Definitely a...
