We loved this restaurant. The staff was amazing and gently suggested things to order. Their patatas bravas is out of this world. We had them at another restaurant and they were just ok, so didn't plan to order them again while in Spain. When I ordered fries, the waitress suggested the bravas instead and I'm so happy she did. They were crispy but still fluffy, and their salsa bravas is so flavorful with the right amount of spice. They were so good that we came back the next day to have them again. Everything else we had was also fresh and delicious, but I will crave the patatas bravas once I return home. Honorable mention for the grilled pineapple dessert, very delicious!

The staff invited us back for a drink on the house on the second day, which was incredibly kind. The chef was gracious enough to tell me how they make their salsa bravas and how they fry the incredible potatoes. They also gave me a big container of sauce and aioli to take with me. He even invited me back the next day to watch them prep the patatas bravas, and I'm so sad we couldn't make it back before we left Málaga. I absolutely love...

Very disappointed! Fish and seafood paella, worst I've ever had in 20 years in Spain. No mussels no clams no peppers, no fish at all either. Rice tasted not too bad but was almost burnt on top (maybe heated under grill) and literally just had calamares and shelled prawns mixed in it, no seafood garnish on top, nothing! Plus was extremely thin layer of rice, barely enough for 2. I've never seen anything like it! after bad paella my dad asked for a cortado and magno, had no brandy at all! We left and had coffee and dessert elsewhere. 100€ down the drain pretty much Only good thing was young waiter from Jaén! First...

Excellent lunch spot. Less busy than other nearby restaurants but don't be fooled in thinking that it's not as good. Delicious patatas bravas which are crunchy and tasty with a nice sauce. Seafood paella was also excellent, the bottom could have been a bit crunchier but good value for €16 per person. Sofia our waitress was attentive and expertly suggested I try their Mahou Barraca lager which is stored in wood barrels for extra flavour. Overall an excellent meal (1 starter, 2 paella and...

This is a bit of a hidden gem if our free walking tour hadn't recommend to visit El Palo we wouldn't have found this place. Great food, calamari fresh and done properly. Boquerones are so good you will clean the plate. White Wine is 3€ a glass so in par with most places. We got 4 dishes in total all around 10 to 14 euros each plate and very well served. Overall it's a place I will return if I'm ever in Málaga again. Some of the dishes reminded me of home 🙂.
